So Many People Haven't Completed This MOT
This year is much different than last year, in that I know quite a few people who haven't completed their moments of triumph. I'm also seeing many more people online trying to get it all done.
I'm very surprised by this, and I like that it's just a little more special than last year's MOT.

FYI: You can transfer the book between characters and check off things. So if you did the pvp quest on your Titan and the raids on your warlock, just transfer it between them and check both off.

I just need the pvp quests for my Titan and I'm extremely lazy to do them but I have to do them lol 😂😂

4 RepliesIt forces you to grind the raid for it. Forces you to play PvP (although grind has been lessened). Forces you to hunt for pieces that have been glitched for awhile. Forces you to Raid "challenge" mode on top of already raiding. Doesn't seem to have as much fun this round. Not as much as year 1 at least

They are much tougher this time. I need a couple challenge mode ones and fragments in the world and I'll be done. I never felt the urge for ToM. But now I guess I'll go for it.

I did year 1. Then moved from PS3 to PS4, lost all my gaming buddies since they decided to stay on last gen. But honestly, I don't see myself completing. I see little fun in requirements.

Yr 2 mot bites. Not like yr1 at all. This 2nd generation of accomplishments..let's look at it shall we. You got practically everything handed to you. The bitching n moaning on quests n such was too hard. The grind. Lol. Too hard. The 1st yr or the first time of anything is where it's at. 2nd yr noobs just pick up the slack. Imo neways. Namaste ppl. No hard feelings :)

Tbh the emblem looks kinda meh, both of them do actually, so i don't really care for it. Nor am I going to do the pvp quest line to finish the MOT. I got both shaders, nothing fancy, but appreciated, and I am happy.

Most of the people on my friend list who haven't completed it are basically just having to go and do the boring grindy stuff (calcified fragments and the "farm spinmetal FOREVER" part of the sword quest). In year 1 I was helping clan mates with things like Skolas for MoT - this year it's trying to remember where Fragment XVIIwhogivesa-blam!- is...

For me, it was basically a repeat of last year but I know I won't finish this year.

Year 1 MOT is all that matters. First year is like having a rookie baseball card (gains value with time). Year 2 does not matter just like 2nd year baseball card.

I didn't do the PvP last time, and I'm not doing the PvP this time. Or the Raid. Besides, the blue/white shader and blue emblem look better than the higher ones anyway, and i have those now.

Hold up man, a lot of people haven't completed this years MoT because a lot of it is just useless grinding, think about it. The mountaintop pvp quest is long and almost unbearable, it took me a good 4-5 hours to complete it start to finish. I never really liked swords, so naturally I went against getting that exotic sword. It's such a huge hassle, And the reason why I haven't finished it yet is because I'm being blocked out of it until Armsday (since last Thursday I've been waiting) Calcified fragments: I have 45 on one character, and the other 5 (plus more) on another character. Why do you have to have all 50 on a single character? TL;DR this years MoT is MUCH more grind inducing. Mainly just useless grinding... I agree with a lot of their triumphs but stuff like completing the mountaintop quest line just seems like a time waster
