After getting wrecked in the crucible in year one (didn't play it much/hated using thorn) to the point that my K/D was ruined, I decided around the time of the April update to git gud.
I have brought my K/D up from a .83, and today finally hit a 1.00
It's taken a long time to do. Hours and hours in the crucible. I had 4 months to fix over a years worth of damage. So many clutch plays, kill streaks, multi kills. And i finally did it.
[spoiler]I know that a lot of people won't care, or will bash me and say that I'm bad. It just feels good to finally have a positive K/D [/spoiler]

2 RepliesIf you're a Warlock, you posess serious skill. If you're a Hunter well, the supers would have helped a lot but a great job nonetheless. If you're a non-Defender Titan all I can say is I'm not surprised.

I got my up from a .50 in year one to an .80 now..... So there.

4 RepliesMy kd was a .2 and .3 in y1. It has taken me most of y2 to get to a .8 and .9 depending on character. Who knows, maybe I'll have a positive kd by the end of y3.

4 Repliessad thing is, in the time it's taken you, you could have deleted your character and got all the sub-classes leveled back up and still would have had the same KD

I was too embarrassed of my kd. But I've learned a lot now in year two and am slowly creeping up as well. I can't put myself though many hours at a time in PVP without getting crazy! LOL I stay out of ToO but always play IB and regular PVP . So I will be a little slower getting there. At least I know there will be hope for me and I will get there some day too :) Again... Congrats :)

Oh my god. I just did as well. I was .85 and now... I am hunter 1.0, warlock 1.0 and titan 0.9 My best game recently was a 12.0 that was called short. I saved it , lol. I think the skill based matchmaking is assisting alot though.

Congrats man. Idc who you are, bringing your KD up by 17 points is always awesome, no matter how good you are. I've played so many matches that my KD is almost completely set in stone.

I can't stand when people say," I went negative.", No, you went positive just not as good as you wanted. To go negative, you would have to kill teammates or yourself. I think they need to allow friendly fire in the crucible. Teammate standing in front you at a crucial time. No need to get annoyed! Friendly fire is enabled! Just blast away like MW4. That'll solve all the crucible problems.<(sarcasm)

.85 on all characters I made the mistake of going at 9 when I had white guns still and always went into skirmish instead of clash. Usually nowadays I at least go 1.1

I say good job, I'm tired of negative post cluttering my feed! My play has also improved with time but to get that 0.6 up hmmmm had a run of games all 2-3 and did not budge. Thanks for enjoying your experience and thanks for sharing it.

Awesome job. You did what I couldn't do in Modern Warfare 2 back in the day. Best I ever managed was a 0.77 KD. Though considering I raised that from a 0.33 KD in the beginning (yeah, I was that bad back then), I'd call it impressive myself
