Golden gun vs. Defender bubble
Does anyone else think it should take all 3 shots to break the bubble? I mean, a striker or voidwalker has to use their whole super to break the bubble and I'd say about 70% of the time, get the kill. Seems a bit OP to me that a gunslinger can straight break the bubble and still have a shot afterwards to get the kill. Thoughts?

Yet at no point when trader super does the defender come out on top. It's just a discussion on how fast the defender dies super vs super

2 RepliesIMO that's ridiculous. The bubble already lasts too long. Having one golden gun shot left to deal with what is often several enemies inside the bubble is still usually suicidal.

Hammer of sol only takes 3 hammers (less than half the super) to take out a bubble.

Novabomb and Fist of Havoc can also kill all the people inside the bubble. Golden Gun takes two hits to drop it and maybe one kill for whoever is inside. If they made it to where three shots take the bubble down, they would have to add a mechanic that it causes an explosion killing everyone inside the bubble to balance it out. Is that really what you want?

1 ReplyI used GG on a Ward of Dawn the other day, and it took all three shots (which was weird and probably due to lag). Immediately got wrecked cuz the three titans titans turned on me. IMO, keep it as is.

5 RepliesGo into the bubble and kill the titan who owns the bubble. I know you may not have an overshield, but I guarantee you that each super without an overshield has high damage resistance. For example, I have stuck a Golden gun with a fusion grenade plenty of times. Does it kill them like it should? No... plus you do have a one shot hand cannon so use it wisely. Maybe even ignore the bubble all together.

They have no armor and have to have line of sight on the bubble. Besides the bubble is a staging area you don't camp in them. That's how you die. Defender has a phenomenal neutral game use your damn suppression nades

It's really fine as is, Saturday I activated my golden gun in response to a Defender Titan activating his bubble and 3 of his teammates entered said bubble. It took 2 shots to destroy the bubble and one shot to kill all enemies inside thanks to combustion.

Edited by bobswerski: 7/11/2016 1:40:44 PM2 shots to break the bubble and the third to make the kill. So it's pretty much the same as using the "entire" FoH or voidbomb. Taking all 3 shots just to break the bubble actually would make it substantially [i]less[/i] effective than the others.

1 ReplyNo. Reducing a very agressive team whipping super down to 1 shot kill is beyond fair. Protecting your team does not mean survivability. It means preventing them from dying. By requiring only 2 shots you have protected 2 or more of your team. Seems balanced to me.

1 ReplyNova bomb and Titan smash can kill the peole inside. If the whole team is inside and a Titan smash the bubble everyone dies. Why can't the Gunslinger get 1 miserable kill after taking down the ward? Is fine as is.
