Wearing SOME taken armor is awful
There is no excuse good enough. I am tired of seeing this sin. It should be illegal and punishable by banishment. What is this unspeakable act?
Rule 3: Wearing only one peice of taken gear is an act of terror and is the ultimate sin.
Edit: I love the full sets, they look cool. Just not without the full set.

As cool as it first was, taken gear kinda sucks. Specter gear though, with chroma, sexy gear.

I can never be bothered with having marching sets of armour. I wear whatever has the highest light / best perks / attributes even if it is from different sets BUT I would never wear Desolate armour unless it was a full set because it looks crap. I have a full set for my Titan and (possibly) a full set for my warlock but I don't wear them. They aren't much use in pve as a lot of the times you are against Taken enemies so you are a liability if you wear it as part of a fireteam because your teammates shoot at you instead of enemies Desolate armour also marks you out in pvp. Other players remember you so they know what you are running and whether you are an easy mark or to stay away from you

The void flayer cloak doesn't really cover your head, it's minimal, the purple goes great with the black helm (and my black and yellow shader), plus it looks like there is shadow stuff coming off the top of my head.

I hate full armor as well. Too many times in the throes of taken PvE battle I find myself shooting a taken captain only to realize half a clip in, it's a teammate

full sets look just as stupid as single pieces. Plus I keep auto targetting idiots that wear this shit during strikes.

Wearing ANY Taken gear is horrible. The whole taken scheme is awful looking. Instead of reskinned enemies you look like a reskinned guardian. Dismantle upon sight before vomit fills mouth.
