Fusion rifles
What's the opinions on them in PVP? I only play mayhem or IB and have had a lot of fun I'm not very good tho but I enjoy it more than sniping and shot gunning

Telesto is a lot of fun in crucible.

Hitchhiker FR4, Thesan, Vacancy, Ashraven's Flight, and Plan C. That is all.

I find its a hit or miss with the fusion rifles. Every time bungie does their so called "fixes" or "maintenance". I go from destroying everyone with FR's (little to no lag) To doing complete shite with them and never working properly (lots of lag) Ill get direct hits with them at point blank range with god roll perks (or Plan C) And they wont even have health or shields drop. Other times i can snipe and disintegrate multiple enemies with single shots from a decent ways away. When they work i find there the best weapon to use. And most fun

I think most opponents don't know how to play against fusion rifle users. I notice people with lower agility always seem to be the majority of victims. Or its an predictable idiot charging head on. Fusions tend to have sluggish handling, predictable recoil and then charge times. It's easy to avoid.

I have been using the Harrowed Midhas Reckoning in crucible recently and have been wrecking with it

10 RepliesIt's basically all I've used since vanilla. Love them. Aim for the marbles and you'll be good to go. You're looking for good stability (bolt grouping) and range (bolt speed).

3 RepliesI love them. I can consistently get midrange 1-shot kills with my Thesan. Once you get used to them and learn to control the spread, shotgun users magically disappear.

Having to learn how to lead, not only your shots, but your charge times as well, can be difficult. Two of my favorites are the Thesan, and the Plan C. If you use the exotic perk correctly on the Plan C it can be devastating. I would suggest going on YouTube, because each archetype of fusion rifle behaves differently. And if you don't have a lot of experience with each type, they can be frustrating. They are different enough that it really changes how you have to play to use each effectively. Edit for autocorrect incorrectly correcting something.

There are two legendary FRs that I highly recommend, the FWCs Vacancy and lightning Murmur. Lightning Murmur is a little bit better than Vacancy in my opinion because of the shorter charge time. You just have to make sure you only use it in crucible and not in IB or ToO.

I really enjoy them. My favorite so far is probably the thesan fr4 omolon one. If I'm looking to just have a fun time I use fusions but if I want to do good I use snipers. I just overall love them now that they actually kill people

They're fun, but the bolts dying when you die is slightly -blam!-ed.

I'm a converted shotgunner love my fusions now. The Vex Mythoclast is still very strong won a game of rumble with it the other day but plan c is my baby and if I can't use that I've got an ashravens flight with range finder and braced frame that's good or the vacancy vendor roll. Plan c is definitely the best though oh ya and if I'm just messing around pocket infinity is just silly to use. Yesterday a guy popped his hammers right in front of me and we traded, was really funny he was probably like wtf?
