Any middle-aged casuals want to play from time to time?
Even though the title sounds like the headline of an adult personal ad, I'd like to find some laid-back Guardians to patrol the cosmos with on occasion. I didn't post this in Recruitment because I'm not looking for specific activities, or a limited number of players. I'm simply looking to bolster my amount of gaming buddies and my exposure to all in-game activities, and to enrich my Destiny experience as a whole. I did play with my step son and a couple of his friends for a while as I was leveling up. I'd played DCUO with them in the past, and had a fairly good time. But when it comes to Destiny, he and his gang can be some real pricks. They're the ultra-serious types who will moan and complain if you die, kill steal when you're trying to complete a bounty just to show how they can kill everything in the room before you can get a hit in, complain that if you're having a bad day, that you're holding things back, not revive you, etc. I don't need any of that. I work all day and play in the evenings and on weekends to escape the BS of everyday life. Sure, I'm not the best at this game. I'm 41 and its my first FPS experience. And my first FPS PVP, when it comes to the Crucible. I'm not visiting the Lighthouse anytime soon. And that's okay. But I am Improving, and having fun. I'd like to continue having fun. But I'd also like some people to have fun with while enjoying Destiny. So if you're a down to earth Guardian who feels the same way I do, and has a good attitude toward having a good time, then feel free to reply, shoot me a friend request on PS4, or just say hello.

I also work full time and I have a one year old so my playing time is fairly limited but I always stay on top of things in the World of Destiny. I'll definitely hit you up later...could always use a friendly helping hand:)

Last night I just spent 2 hours collecting dead ghosts, the night before I just did test weapons across all 3 characters, then some Heroic strikes. Just casual, fun activities. I'm looking for the same. I play nights after kids in bed. Still kinda new to destiny. Lv 37 hunter, but just progressing through the story. I'd like a team I can do events and raid with and play casually / semi core on the nights I play. Add me in game Sharks-tool.

You sound like a perfect fit for the clan im in. We are on both consoles and almost all dads or 18 and up. The majority of us are casual players such as yourself and play a few hrs during the week and weekends. We treat each other with respect and there's almost always somone willing to be patient and help out. We are "THE patriarchs"

2 RepliesI'm 46 and am usually on after 9:00 pm EST. Like to run everything, but never seem to get around to raiding much. This is the 1st FPS that I have gotten into as well. Used to play COD with my son, but he would whoop me pretty good usually. I like to play PvP & it has taken me awhile & I almost got my K/D up to 1.00! I like to run strikes, CoE,NF & IB. Newly minted 45 year old. Add me also. I'm fairly casual but I like to get things done. CoE, CoO, daily bounties, down for Crucible, definatly IB, Strikes , Nightfall, and Gunsmith testing. Haven't been through full Oryx yet. But well versed in VoG and Crota, though it's been awhile. I try to play most days but, I have a grandson, and foster kids so sometimes my schedule gets busted.
