Make year 1 armor infusable
Okay, I understand why most Year 1 weapons need to stay year 1, popularity/elemental primaries, but why not just update all the year 1 armors.
I mean, no armor that's legendary really has anything that make any OP, many people just like the looks of old armor, especially the cloaks.

Edit: Tbh I just want my All My Victims cloak back

Vanilla armour = Future War Cult The Dark Below Armour = Dead Orbit House Of Wolves armour = New Monarchy Prison Of Elders = Challenge Of Elders So why make them infusible if they're already there? If anything, you'll be at a disadvantage as the armour doesn't have certain newer perks along with older armour allowing certain perks to be on both Helmets and Gauntlets. (Such as Increased Melee Speed and Grenade Throw Distance) Year One raid gear had Increased Heavy Ammo on all Boots, Increased Special Ammo on all Chest, and Increased Reload Speed for all Specials. This didn't carry to Year Two and forward because they wanted to limit it to only being on Exotic armour instead. So making Year One gear will never be a thing, if anything they'll make it reskinned with different colors and adjust the perks to fit the new system.

3 RepliesI'm a returning player after a 9 month absence, I still have all the armour and weapons from VOG and CE. I also still have all the year 1 exotics. All I would like to know is, am I wasting my time holding on to them? I can't help but feel the moment I shard them Bungie will announce that year 1 gear can now be infused. What should I do?

I wear my old armor all the time. In fact sometimes I wear the base armor the game started you with in the crucible. Really gotta rely on your guns.

5 RepliesNo. People would only run year 1 armour. Having a chest plate with special ammo and sniper legs starts you with 12 shots. You can only roll special ammo chest on year 1 legendaries and year 2 exotics. Also a lot of year 1 gloves come with multiple reload speed bonuses on one armour piece. Basically my point is no one would bother chasing year 2 gear if year 1 shit was infusible. They need to bring it more in line with year 2 gears if they plan on bringing it back.
