Decided to use the Mida, now I feel dirty
After getting my ass handed to me by the same weapon over and over again, I decided to finally infuse my own. I was until I had a 335 weapon but I kept just getting 330s so there you go. Anyway, after I started using it, the iron banner went from rank 5 in 3 days to basically a day and a half. But I feel so dirty for using such an easy to kill with weapon, is this normal?

2 RepliesMy hipster alarm is going nuts. Not liking a gun because it's popular? The only reason I don't use it more, is I used the crap out of it in Y1. I have no problem using it for nostalgia. Use what you want. If you care about others opinions so much that you feel dirty, that's your problem, not the gun's.

I used it for the 6+scout kills quest and is pretty user friendly. Not op but has an easy learning curve. First 2 matches had a 2+ kd and I'm an average pvp player. Sitting at .9 overall (How killed my kd as that's when I started, damn thorn haha) but over last month sitting at 1.0 and last week over that. It felt a little dirty using it.

If you already had a character at rank 5 and you were using MIDA on another character that you were ranking up; then you ranked up twice as quickly as the rep values are doubled for your alts once you have one character at rank 5. Just sayin

Every weapon counters it, honestly the weapon is as clean as it was in Vanilla. What people don't seem to understand its a literal all around weapon which makes it out class other weapons. Want a Mida Archetype, there's a rare scout rifle that has the same Archetype. An seriously the High Caliber Rounds is not even on it anymore which makes it even more of a easier weapon to counter. Anythng can honestly counter it. Just use a weapon you can count on. First Curse, Imago Loop, Lord High Fixer, Hawksaw, Bad Juju, etc. Its not hard just practice I guess?

The aim assist is so high you can headshot people if they are behind cover. So yes feel dirty

I also feel dirty using the universal remote as I can quick scope with a shotgun from more than 5 feet away and still kill someone. These guns truly are dirty, but who cares when you can [b][i][u]SHOW YOUR TRUE COLORS!![/u][/i][/b]

My hunter went from 0 to 5 in 15 matches, without using Mida. The weapon does not make the player.

Many weapons are easier and kill faster than the mida. Nothing dirty about the mida at all. Get over it.

4 RepliesI could not get a year 2 Mida to save my life so I finally caved and bought one from the iPad. I am absolutely horrendous with it. I do much better using my Lethe Noblesse scout than the Mida.

It allows a guardian to be faster is why so many of us are shooting with it. You feel dirty for using an exotic weapon that we all have access to by now? If that is why then you really shouldn't guardian.

As an avid fusion rifle user, I decided to use a shotgun through Iron Banner... I felt so dirty after every kill I got with it. I just felt filthy.

I feel the same. I have a badass rightous 7 a all right grasp and badass aegis and hung jury Sr 4 vendor roll before April. All of which are amazing.... In standard none sweaty crucible... Ib drops and boom! Suddenly im getting out played by grasps and midas.... I hate going to it now since I found these weapons but I kinda have to if I have a chance of winning :/

I feal ya. MIDA is a good gun, but I'd rather have my Red Death, Nirwins, or Hard Light, but damn it all! MIDA is better! I still try and rock my other guns, but some maps require a MIDA to be competitive.
