After a pretty decent run of IB (top score most games), the consistently top scoring person of the other team messaged me.
It read, "Good game"
Shout out to the truly civil players. Makes me appreciate crucible a little bit more.
"Thanks fam"

This has only happened a few times, but those times are awesome.

Always say good game. For some reason this pissed a guy off for whatever reason once thought, but that's how I meet most of my destiny friends.
-
I try to msg the top guy on the other team. You gotta balance out all the hate emails. Lol
-
i had this in trials last week when some guys where wrecking us, we had no chance but still managed to fight back quite a bit without winning a round and got a good game from one of them. apparently we put up more of a fight than they thought we would. we had an 80% loss chance according to destinytracker. one of the things i'd never thought would happen *fluffs away*

Well your lucky apparently it makes people very angry when you kill them with no land beyond... Especially when you shut them down. I just wish for one day people don't rage and hate over something that everyone is available to use if they want to

Edited by QMR://DH779: 7/1/2016 9:57:09 PMI send out gg messages if i play against someone consecutive games and they are impressive. Played a guy in IB today that was a pretty decent player. He usually led his team and they knocked off 5 wins in a row against me. Finally got a few decent teammates and we won two straight. In the final game was 25-9, and decided it was a good time to get out while the getting was good. Sent him a message saying gg's and he was a good player. He sent back a nice message and that is it. Game should recognize game. Lol.

1 ReplyA few months ago in iron banner after srl i was playing against a team of 6. My team ditched out and only me and another random guy. They had supers and heavies but we managed to get positive k/d's and the game ended at 8500-10000. 4 of them sent out gg. Respect.

Getting GG from players is one of the best feelings in the crucible. It shows that not everyone is a salty asshat that cares for themselves only

Good Game to all in the comments

Edited by OLDSCRATCH4: 7/1/2016 9:34:54 PMThat's a lot nicer than the message I sent to the top player on the other team last night, red bar/teleporting warlock that no one on my team could kill (even when we team shot him) who went 20-3.

2 RepliesNice! That's the way it used to be on PC playing CS and a variety of other fps. Lol now I get teabagged for hardly any reason. I'm not the best player by far but I decided to take teabagging as a compliment, as something I earned for being annoying or difficult to kill. Recently I got a hilarious msg that said, "You suck kid, go play WWE!". It was a bad match for me, admittedly, but I liked being called "kid". I'm Nearly 50. Thanks random assmunch. Heheh

Yes bruv

1 ReplyI played my first game in inferno rumble as a 22 defender using the strangers rifle, I got 2 messages after I won with 15 kills 6 deaths one saying Noob and the other saying I should use something other than the most OP pulse rifle
-
1 ReplyI messaged a team of players red baring: "Wow, a team of people with red bars, this is gonna be fun." A minute or two after the game started I was kicked out to the main menu and the guy messaged me "lol". Pretty scary stuff.

I did a good game message after I tethered the other team at heavy, and someone nova bombed them 😄😄😄

I sometimes complement people on good skills, it's good to be nice. Not so much recently, keep coming up against people who seem to be able to make my guns kind of jam, not sure if it's some kit they have I don't know or if they are cheating swine. Anyone know why that's happening.? Would really up my scores if every time someone jumped me they could only get one round off before a 2 second pause?

Edited by Sid: 7/1/2016 6:14:03 PMShould've responded with "git gud scrub" We can't have that civil shit online.

I was in a full FT a few IB's ago and we saw a 270 light guardian on the load screen and I immediately sent him a message that said "I'm Sorry"! His retort said "for" And I said "For what we're about to do". I really felt bad for the brave fella!!! I think he finished with 3-4 kills! I was impressed!!!
-
1 ReplyI actually would send more "good game" type messages if the messaging system wasn't so slow & pull you out of the game.
-
I send those from time to time; usually when it's clear the guy/gal's playing (not loadout) was top-notch.
-
6 Repliesif you people can't take a little trash talk go crawl in a hole. is your self esteem so low that you need people to tell you good game? who cares if someone text you trash talk. ignore them or are you unable to not say anything?
-
4 RepliesI get a lot of hate for using the Mida despite the fact I used it most of year 1 and since it can out for year 2 before it became a crutch
-
Pffff. I wish i could message somebody "good game" more often. Mostly the match is not balanced at all.....There is always one team that has big connection/ delay advantage. There are almost no fair matches in Desiny's PvP, where the you see the enemies exactly at the same time, they see you.
-
Agreed i usually send people who do good (gg)
-
1 ReplyYea there is alot of decent ppl out there. More often then not i encounter the idiots who choose to tea bag after slide shotgun kill.
