Where have all the Maloks gone?
I thought after that Omnigul nightfall a couple of weeks ago crucible would be flooded with Grasp of Malok users. This has not the been case, at least not at the tier I play at.

I'm not complaining. Just an observation.

Fast TTK on it but you need 1 with major stability perks. I t doesn't seem to hit as hard as it once did....

I've been using it. Majority of the maps in rotation for this IB seem to favour the pulse as opposed to AR or even scouts(mida) The TTK for the HROF archetype pulse is probably the fastest right now as well. The inconsistency of player connections and lag have been what I've noticed most this IB.

See? Knew it. This happens every time. Everyone gets a shiny new gun, then the hype dies down within a week or 2. They realize it isn't as great as they thought. It was just something rare that became more available to them, and they wanted to try it out. The hype is gone, so everyone went back to using what they use best.

You need a god roll for it to be good (Counterbalance + braced frame). It rewards accuracy too. It can three burst if you have good aim, but man was it a monster before the pulse rifle nerf. Rip timepiece

I'm seeing them by the dozens. It melts at close to long range. It's basically a pre nerf doctrine with the range of a scout rifle. It's way too good. I see a future nerf.

One because it's not that great a gun. It was hyped since it was rare. I had been using it since time immemorial, got bored, switched to other weapons. Then after months I suddenly see it being hyped and all. Two because people don't know how to use primary in PvP. They'll just use snipers and shotguns along with some fusion and sidearm users.

Because it was over hyped. It's not a bad gun by any means. There are more favorable options. I believe most I found this out by now.

1 ReplyGoM is an amazing gun, one of my favorites of destiny. However, it [b]requires[/b] almost god rolls to use effectively. I've gotten almost half of dozen really good rolls last weekend during the omnigul strike and tried all of them, only two made the final cut and they both had counter balance and perfect balance. It supposedly has the fastest TTK of all pulse rifles but you need to land practically all your shots so if you don't have at least two stability perks it's very hard to use. I think a lot of people thought they knew what the god rolls were for GoM and got a rude awakening.

Cause people thought if they got the gun, they would be OP, but turns out they suck with it, which is usually because of the crap perks they mostly have, but still gotta watch out for good rolls and god rolls

2 RepliesThat because people got it and realized they sucked with it and went back to what they were doing before. It's interesting to see that moment of realization for people. You can play destiny how you want. You don't have to "hunt the best gun" you simply need to find what works for you, and what you like to do.

The first few days I had it, I was not impressed. After opening the perks n getting comfy on a few patrols, I now adore it.. But now I have a Supercell, sooo... Yeah. Even my Monte Carlo has been retired. And its the prettiest gun in the whole damn game. Also love The Villainy. FWC FTW

I've gotten killed by cross map grasps more than a few times this week. I also never play pvp. The accuracy on ranged shots from that gun is pretty impressive

It's is because the mediocre league knows how to play PvP for fun and experiment with guns outside of the meta, unlike the hardcore league.

Used mine for the pulse rifle bounty only. I've seen mostly ar's and scouts, with a few Hawksaws and hand cannons. And red death. I'm surprised, grasp does really well.
