When will you realize 90% of the community hates SBMM
I'm sick of playing with handicapped blue berries on my team that can barely drop a 1.0 in the easiest matches. While I am forced to play sweaty people that have a 1.7 and above. Nobody likes it bungie. We're all tired of being your test toys. I'm sick of every match being a sweat fest. Just fix up your game and stop just jerking off to your money. I wanna be able to have fun in crucible without getting matched against a team of 6 storms using thorn and matador.
Also if you enjoy SBMM the 90% of the other people don't. We can't get every person that plays destiny to vote so this is all we got.
The lag makes it worse, I play a match and there are 3 people on the other team red barring. I kill them after a couple of shots then I somehow die 20 seconds later to them. It's ridiculous how lag can make someone better at this game but in other games it makes it worse.

Most of the people that don't like SBMM are players with the higher k/d ratios and higher Elo's. Those people are the elite minority. The rest of us, the majority of players, don't have 2.0 + k/d ratios and typically don't care about SBMM. I'm no slouch at 1.40/1.18/1.08 (H/W/T) k/d with Elo's in the silver range. But you're clearly on a higher level than me. I hope one day I will get there. In looking at your stats it's easy to see why you're complaining. You're 2.55/2.05 (H/W) k/d with Elo's in the silver range and above. 1 silver, 2 golds, 2 platinums and a diamond (ToO is diamond!). Most of your stats, except for skirmish, are trending down. As I'm sure you're aware matchmaking uses team Elo to find the blending of players that are as close to equal as possible. So even someone like me in the silver Elo range still gets sweaty matches with teammates that are even worse than your 1.0 kd blueberry. It's all relative. Maybe some of it has to do with law of averages? I've played over 3000 matches where you've played less than 900. I would be curious to see poling data on SBMM opinions though. Preferably with an adequate sample size.

A lot of the matches I was in today were very close. I haven't played Destiny in months and coming back to this was a nice change. Maybe people have forgotten how heavily one sided the matches used to be? It was a joke. Lag sux and was always and will always be there.

4 RepliesI admit I'm not a fan either. I recently came back to the game on Xbox one with a completely fresh start (switched from ps4 where I left when Crota was current). I enjoy good competition and dislike heavily one sided games where we get murdered or slaughter the other team, it just feels annoying in its current state though. Before I get flamed, it has nothing to do with being a sore loser or anything like that, it's more that it takes so much longer than what I remember to get into games, and every match feels like a stalemate. It doesn't make sense to criticize or complain without offering a possible solution. I think that the skill based matchmaking should be reserved for IB and trials based on what I've done so far since I've returned. That way you can still get quick games through regular crucible, and there will be some variety to the matches.

I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with the merits of SBMM. I'm just saying stop making shit up and pretending you speak for the entire community, or even 90 percent of it.

3 RepliesWhen I queue up solo and I go 1.5+kd and my entire team goes below .5 there is something wrong. It's like SBMM makes a last ditch effort to queue a better player with much worse players just to make it equal up against a full mediocre team. So that better player has to pick up the slack. Tell me I'm wrong SBMM fanboys.
