Snipers RUIN Trials of Osiris
They literally take away all the fast paced gameplay. You can't even walk around corners without the fear of being hardscoped, because a hardscoper is waiting for you. Those easy hardscoping 1HK shots don't make you skilled. They tell us you can only use a sniper to win.

You have an opportunity to kill an enemy from far away with one shot. Would you not take that, considering that enemy only has one life? Its the nature of Trials that encourages sniping. Its the safest way to win since dying is such a penalty.

3 RepliesSnipers are not ruining trials people are just finding best way that works and if idiots keep getting in there line of sight and sniping you why will they change there strategy. You know you can control the flag area and they will have to push but I guess people just want easiest way to get to the lighthouse and just complain and not find a better strategy to beat your opponent.

They need to bring back no spawn-in ammo, snipers are just ruining trials. 90% of the time for every trials match is people sniping a lane.

9 RepliesLmfao when you can quickscope a hunter while he's arc blading at you in the air then you can talk about snipers. You people act like sniping is just the easiest thing ever. You know what's easy? Slide shotgunning. Takes no skill what so ever. Sure Trials is a bit slower, but it's because it's more skillful. Is Hardscoping a problem? Oh definitely! Do hardscopers ruin trials and normal crucible, of definitely, but don't make a post about all snipers. I get hardscoped all the time and it makes me angry, but hey, get over it. They bought the game just like you and will play however that want. Don't wanna get hardscoped? Don't poke your head out. It's simple.

It's not that they ruin it. But especially on this map. If the snipers go inside and you wait outside then it will end up with the zone. Sniping is the most boring way to play but it is easy so everyone does it.

1 ReplyThey should spawn you in with a set amount of special, and not have special ammo spawn in at all, that way people would rely on primaries more than secondary, because while I do snipe a lot, and get sniped, it's often frustrating when you're getting revived and your teammate gets sniped as soon as you're revived, and then they snipe you to get the double. Annoying as hell, because it just takes the fun out of game modes like trials and elimination. And don't even get me started on self res. It's stupid how you can get sniped out of it before your weapons even ready.
