I love how the word "DONATE" gets thrown around by these trials carriers.
Oxford dictionary definition -
. Give (money or goods) for a good cause, for example to a charity.
Sorry friend but you arent a charity last time i checked trials carrys werent tax deductible June 30th.
You are not providing a charity, you are looking for this word i believe "PAYMENT".
- To give money or goods in return for a service.
Please use the appropriate word for future referencing - oh wait a minute you cant because if you say "payment" that would be a violation of terms and conditions on lfg and xbox live.

2 RepliesGrenaderjake. Free lighthouse. Good player, funny character. Broman funny down to earth guy. But the flip side some other streamers kick lighthouse virgins mid game when they are losing. Lfg carry problems started from vault if glass cuz it is a raid that you can not solo. Still can not solo. But take it like this. If you are a 1 and 30 player in trials versus 20 and 1 who is more valuable? Hence why some of our fellow guardians pay for the lighthouse. Call it what you will you can not stop it. It is but a loophole.

7 RepliesAny guys want to donate their girlfriend/wife to me? It's for a good cause.

Edited by ProjectRahman: 6/21/2016 2:50:10 AMTrials carries is like helping an old lady cross the street. Either do it from the goodness of your heart or don't do it at all.

1 ReplyIt said for example a charity. Any good cause works, and isn't one using a superior skillet to enable others with an inferior skillet to accomplish something a good cause? Regardless, good is an ambiguous term and so one may deem it good and one may not. It is not a payment because they do not require it. Besides that is only one definition. Dictionary.com defines it as "to present as a gift, grant or contribution", which it clearly is, Merriam Webster defines it as "to give in order to help a person or organization" which it also clearly is, and thefreedictionary presents it as "To present as a gift to a fund or cause; contribute", which it once again necessarily is.

Why's this a problem? Why do you care?
-
3 RepliesAh yeah, i know a guy who cant get dates unless he gives her a donation...
-
Why do people even give a damn? Who cares what other people are doing. You have 2 options really. Give them a donation or just stfu and get a fireteam and have a crack. They are not effecting anyone in any way whatsoever. People just expect things on a silver platter.
-
So do hookers
-
1 ReplyAgreed. If you want paid for Trials carrys, fine. But don't sit there like some two bit hooker asking for"donations". It really does make you sound like a prostitute. Which, is really what people who do Trials carrys are.
-
4 RepliesI will allow someone to carry me through trials if you donate to the "jaeger needs to upgrade is console" fund. (b^.^)b
-
5 RepliesYou can be a hater and stop them.. 1) create alternative account 2) ask for carry.. if free play, if they ask for payment go to 3. 3) give them 15 dollars. 4) turn the lagswitch on . 5) start cheating like lance Armstrong 6) whole fireteam gets banned

Some call it "tips"

3 RepliesTruly you are donating to their mother to help get their son out of the basement

All depends on what you consider a good cause.

Sorry friend but you arent a charity last time i checked trials carrys werent tax deductible June 30th.
For example, to a charity. Do you see how this is an example, not the only cause. It's giving money for a good cause, like for example, being generous and giving you a trials carry, I would consider that a good cause. No it's not a charity, but that's not the definition... Although I do agree with you that some twitch streamers misuse the word. "Donating" should not put you to the top of the list for carrying, that's not what donating is, at that point it's just "pay me for instant carry" instead of "pay me if you like that I'm helping others"
-
1 ReplyDonations are optional, it's when the the person carrying is doing it for free but the person getting carried has an option to donate if he wants.
-
2 RepliesI do trials carries for free, only took two flawless, seems noone want the help.
-
People who ask for money sound like absolute nipple twisting ass baggers, but the people who willingly take bros to see those hoes...they legend.
-
3 RepliesSo if I give $ to get carry, can I just sit at the corner and not do a thing? Btw I am really bad in trials!
-
-blam!- that, I'll just say charge
-
It's ridiculous
-
Awww someone wants to be carried through trials without having to donate :'( Im sorry
without having to PAY*
-
8 RepliesYour donating to help someone do something they are good at and potentially make a living off of. What's wrong with that?
-
3 RepliesSimple, donation=no tax needs to be paid payment=taxable
