Sunsinger nerf was way too excessive needs an adjustment immediately.
Secondly stop nerfing so much for heavens sake. As I've said before took like a 6 month break from destiny never thought about coming back because of so many nerfs to shotguns hand canons sunsinger titan hammer ridiculous. Then everything seems reasonable and it's a nope were gonna nerf stuff some more.
I'm not gonna spend 30 bucks on a dlc if all my stuff from my last plays will be worthless like with the taken king dlc. If they keep nerfing the small array of things I like using. This game is good but previous frustrations stopped me from playing. Please don't start them again. To me the dlc won't be worth the annoyance with the game that I want to like but bungie keeps screwing with it so much.
Thank you for hearing my rant please fix this terrible adjustment or I'm afraid other games will again be calling my name. Been back 3 weeks don't want to leave sgain but heh lot of other good stuff coming out too.

I agree, everyone were so mad that the sunsinger only had 2 decent weapons instead of one shot melees (without super active) and grenades like skips, lightnings, smoke grenades, etc. so bungie fell under the pressure of the whiny bitches and now sunsinger is the weakest competitive subclass. Bungie you must make the sunsinger strong again, even if it's not even with other classes like before, give us a chance

The problem I find with the change is that the new debuff effect of Viking Funeral isn't useful in its current state. It needs to be at least 10% per stack, and last 5-7 seconds. A 5% defense debuff per stack that only lasts 2-3 seconds doesn't help anyone. It's useless. Good idea, but very poor execution on their part. And its interaction with Solar Grenade is rather odd. It only activates on the initial impact of the grenade when tossed, and doesn't apply at all after that, even if an enemy that wasn't hit by it previously walks through the solar flare. The continuous damage from the Grenade isn't affected at all by the defense debuff either. Only the initial impact is affected. Sometimes it doesn't apply the debuff effect or burn at all. Very inconsistent. They really need to fix that. On that note, the damage of Solar Grenades have been widely inconsistent, even by itself, since the update. It seems much weaker than it was initially. Sometimes it does little to no damage at all. Likely another bug from the update. On another note, there is yet another bug, this one is with Viking Funeral's new debuff effect, which is doing the opposite of what is supposed to do, and instead granting enemies a defense buff.

5 RepliesAgreed but how bout gunslinger and bladedancer
-
1 ReplySo do blade dancer and golden gun but will they? Nope
-
17 RepliesThey needed to nerf the sunsinger´s nades and they did . They buried them and it was the best thing they ever did. Stay at a distance against a sunsinger ---> nade , run for your life . Rush a sunsinger ----> overshield and die . It was the most rediculous shit ever. I hope they dug that grave deep enough.

Edited by Gunslinger: 6/21/2016 8:08:46 AMI agree buff hunters

Nerf Titan

5 RepliesWhat? No more getting kills by shooting someone twice with the doctrine and lobbing a grenade 10 feet away from them so it can kill them for the rest of the 90% of their health? What a sad day....
-
Sunsingers don't need a buff back to prepatch...they need a complete -blam!-ing rework
-
3 RepliesIm sorry you feel that way but you dont get to bitch about a class that the community as a whole was complaining about. Now if you were saying gunslinger then i would agree. Nobody complained about gunslinger but it got nerfed. Golden gun time feels alot shorter than before. Tripmines are broken, 4 out of 10 i throw actually do what they are supposed to. Some blow up right next to ppl but they take 0 damage. Or it takes half their shield and they keep going. Throwing knives are useless now. Instead of lowering flame blade dmg they lowered base damage.

BBUUUUFFFFF MMMEEEEEEE IM NOT OVER POWERED ENOUGH
-
4 Repliesit was very annoying, too many people abused it so they nerfed it. stop complaining
-
4 RepliesWhat? Sunsingers were barely touched and that's the subclass you think was nerfed too hard? Literally every single hunter subclass was completely shit on with this last update and this is what you're whining about?
-
4 RepliesI didn't notice until yesterday how bad it was. I hit radiance in a control match, launched about 4 or 5 grenades in a group of 4-5 guardians, and not one grenade killed not 1 person. I let go of the match at that point and switched everything back to stormcaller. I purposefully built that class over time, it was my last to explore, and became my favorite. Now? If my subclass can't effectively operate when a SUPER is used, that says something. I'm not new here and I know how things are supposed to work. Bungie messed up on this one. Big time. Sunsinger retired. :(

Edited by OurWildebeest: 6/20/2016 5:49:50 PMI have been a Sunsinger main since I unlocked it, whenever that was. Last March or April I guess. My preferred build as of a week ago was radiant skin, solar grenades, viking funeral, Sunbreaker gauntlets. I didn't feel overpowered (you can see my kd isn't great) but I had some good games and most importantly, it was fun to me. In an ideal situation, I could give my team ironclad control of an area for a while and kill several opponents who dared venture into my solar grenades. Post-update, I don't think a solar grenade could kill a full health opponent even if they stood in the middle of it the whole duration, even with Sunbreakers. I THINK two could kill someone if they stood still but not sure (hard to test). I have gotten few if any solar grenade kills and it wasn't for lack of trying. On Friday, I reluctantly switched to fusion grenades and Starfire. That worked better, but I'm not great at aiming sticky grenades and I never find the right time to use my super. So on Sunday, I gave up on Sunsinger and switched indefinitely to Stormcaller. So what you have is a career 0.8 kd player (admittedly some 2.4 kd games but also some 0.2 kd ones) frustrated, not having fun and having to change classes, because Bungie thought something was op ...?!? Does this sound right to you?!? Solutions 1 - Easiest and fastest - reverse the changes to Sunsinger made on Tuesday. 2 - A bit harder maybe - a) fix the solar DOT and the debuff - it does next to no damage and the debuff is actually a buff - b) raise the numbers across the board, more damage, more of a debuff. Like instead of a 5% debuff stackable to 15%, make it 10% stackable to 30%. But wait, you say, 30% is in tether territory, and that is a super, not a grenade. How do you think a Sunsinger is going to stack three grenades? It requires a super! Or if it is multiple Sunsingers, it is also fair for multiple grenades to equal a super. Tether still lasts a lot longer anyway. And my favorite: 3 - If you want to give warlocks some support class functions, I am totally on board with that. For months, I have had a solution in mind to make warlocks more valued on Kings Fall. And that is, if the Sunsinger is alive at time of use, allow Fireborn to resurrect a dead teammate who would be close enough to revive if you weren't in a darkness zone. Only one teammate and it costs you your super (if you die 10 seconds later, you can't self-res). That is balanced and useful. It will make everybody really want two warlocks, instead of the last two slots being "whatever". As things stand ... you could just remove the subclass if you don't want anyone to use it, seriously.

1 ReplyThis is what happened to Sunbreakers
-
I agree, Bungie has made nerfs before because players were frustrated. Now we are frustrated so they must respond the same way like they did before. Or will they go back on their reasoning for their actions and simply imply that they make changes only because it makes them happy and not the fans? Which would would lead to the point: Did Bungie create Destiny for Bungie or for the gamer?
-
Please buff if you look at the sunslinger to honestly took everything we loved about it away us warlocks only have sunsinger for trials that made us something to watch out for just as much hammers and golden gun give it back and make this wrong right bungie I've been a fan since 01 and I stayed a fan after you sold halo to come to love this game

Edited by Razzupaltuff: 6/20/2016 1:51:47 PMYeah, after having played the Sun Singer post patch, I think the burn / DOT nerf has hit it a bit too hard. I do not understand why they simply decreased the DoT duration (like they did with the Thorn), but replaced it entirely.
-
Edited by Angelis101: 6/20/2016 1:51:42 PMI'm pretty sure people are tired of me attaching grenades to their face over and over again. I'm getting twice as many grenade kills per game now. It's kind of dumb. But I can't protect my teammates or play defensively. But no, really. Radience is garbage and unless they're on just the right spot I'll never get a kill with it.
-
They were nerfed way too hard, and now it is an unplayable subclass. Very poor way to "balance" the crucible.
-
The latest nerf patch was uncalled for in general.
-
Bump. I hate this nerf

As a hunter main i agree!

Ha hahahah hahahahahahaha no
