Guys, please keep my family and cow in your prayers. She went down sometime during the night and we don't know what is wrong with her. All we know is that she can't get up. We've called all the nearby vets and none can make an emergency call to come to our house. I don't know what to do guys and I'm on the verge of freaking out. If we lose her then we lose the calf as well, and we can't afford for that to happen. We are living month to month on paychecks right now, and she is going to be a source of income for us by selling her milk. PLEASE. I beg of you, be praying.
Sincerely,
TJG
Update1: We were able to get a vet out to come see us and he just left. Bell hasn't stood up yet, but we believe that she is going to be okay. It was a close call though. Her digestive track was a messed up for unknown reasons. The vet took stool and blood samples and is going to go look at them now.
Update2: https://imgur.com/gallery/kmO5T she passed away last night at about 10:30 pm
