Greetings fellow Guardians,
Welcome to episode 13 of the #destinytruthcast where you the community join us in talking all things Bungie and Destiny. Today Draken, JStevensontown, RedWingGirl1999 and I are joined by a member of the #Destiny forum, Ashe as we discuss the reveal stream for the next Destiny expansion, Rise of Iron.

6 RepliesLost Sols, I just saw the podcast was up on Soundcloud and I enjoyed it except for one detail I'm sorry to say I take exception to...the part about the oldgen and Destiny2/RoI. I can say for myself and the others I have read on the forums here, that the biggest problem with the decision by bungie was not that RoI was made into a currentgen DLC, but that the decision was announced at the reveal podcast. I can understand the decision since currentgen would allow Bungie to take advantage of the new hardware and tbh I totally expected D2 to be new/current gen only, much less, *any* title from this point being release by Bungie being current/new gen. But, Bungie could have at least announced some time backwards that they were not going to support old gen for anymore DLC/Y3. I'm certain it would still have caused an uproar and some anger, but it would have been better than announcing it at the reveal of the Y3/end of Y2 (whatever it can be called) which is a major "nyaa nyaa look how awesome this is and you can't play it!!" I"m not certain if you'll see this or not, but I felt I needed to share my thoughts on this. In any case, as always I've enjoyed hearing everyone's thoughts and will look forward to the next podcast. (oh, yes, almost forgot. I'm a 360 user who is expecting to upgrade by Sept or so myself).

3 RepliesGood show guys. Idk if anyone has this issue, but it's harder to find certain fav players post. This one took some digging. Any who, completely agree about the game being next gen only, it's is a good choice, but having to paying for TTK again to play the new dlc is a bit crazy to me. Wasn't cool months ago when they did it with tdb and how, really not cool now. I'd gladly pay a fee to transfer TTK but idk about paying 30-40 for stuff that is probably going to be made obsolete when the new dlc drops(.....wait). Probably alone on this one. I was a bit happy to see ghorn is coming back, but they used it as a selling tool...why? I hope players who are pre order before they see what this dlc has to offer get more then just ghorn because that alone is.....yeah. All in all, RoI dlc's gear golden (hunters are batman loved it!), as dose the weapons I see. I went off yesterday and tried to buy a real wolf because they are bad ass, lol....is what they did at the zoo when I demanded they find me one and sell it to me.

1 ReplyLost Sols, I'm at work and haven't had a chance to listen yet, but one of my main complaints is the old stories we use to do. Yes, use to do. I was wondering about making all stories relevant by being able to up the difficulty . I believe its referred to as a FOV slider(?) or someway to up the story level to your current level. There are some stories that are fun to play, but not when your level 40 and the story is level 3! I feel it is a shame that some of these stories are laying wasted because there is no challenge Or motivation to play them. Maybe this can be a future topic for your show? Thanks

5 RepliesProps to you, jstevensontown, and the rest for what this has become. That being said, I just don't know if Bungie can inject destiny with what it needs to be (at least for me) fun again. For the second time since day 1,my group has broken apart to no life other games. I do hope they can fix it, but I just can't get past the disappointment of the past.
