Black Gjallarhorn is a questline.....Calm down
The fine print on the preorder bonus says the Black Gjallarhorn is locked behind a locked questline. By pre-ordering, you unlock the questline from day 1. More than likely it is a timed gate like other exotics. The quest will unlock for the ones that didn't preorder at a later date.

No. The pre-order is just for a Black Gjallahorn. The quest is to activate the mission to piece it together. So the Gjallahorn will NOT be available right out of the gate. You have to kill certain enemies during certain missions to acquire it's certain pieces. Sort of like the sleeper simulant

Regular, normal skin Gjallarhorn is obtainable for everyone. The IRON version is pre-order only.

Holy fücking Black Iron Lords, does everyone think they are going to get it on September 20? Damn son, remember that stupid Sleeper stupid (not one bit bitter about tromping all the f-over Cosmodrome looking for some magical Unicorn crapping a rainbow) time gate quest...WTF happens when they don't unlock it until January so all of the Christmas guardians can move over from PS3 and get it at the same time as everyone else?

One of the early pics that got released said quest line access for pre-order was 9-20 and unlocks for all Jan-1.

Everyone gets the quest. The people that pre order get the black one when they complete others get the original look.
