NO MORE DLC ON LAST GEN IS A REAL JOKE
When I bought Destiny at the launch date, we were told by you guys that Destiny would be a long term project and that last gen and current gen would get the same content. Now with leaked info, we learn that you guys abandon the last gen. This is bullshit. After spending over 200$ in the game, we learn that last gen won't get the next DLC. You guys don't even care about your loyal fans. I am playing Destiny since launch like lots of other players on last gen and I spent a large amount of money in this game. Today, we learned that we won't be able to finish our favorite title since you guys are abandoning all your loyal customers on ps3 and Xbox 360. This is a real joke. I hope you guys will pay my upgrade that I can't afford at the moment since I am a full time student. Thanks again Bungie for letting us go....

I have the next gen version, but I can somewhat understand the pain these people must be going through. I mean they could of at least kept them going until destiny 2, regardless of anyone's financial position it will be quite saddening for many many people, to just be forgotten.

They never stated that destiny would be on old and current gen throughout its entire life. I started destiny on 360 and since the beginning I've known that one day it would move on.

Destiny should have been next-gen only from the start. It was going to be my reason to upgrade. When I saw it was coming out for all platforms, I delayed that decision until TTK dropped.

Did you know your console is 10 years behind of current technology? They should've dropped old gen in year 1.

While I sympathize with you, OP; it had to happen sooner or later. Even Microsoft has stopped production of the 360. It's only a matter of time before online support for it stops as well. But it was inevitable that last gen support and game production would stop at some point. Bungie has just hit that point with the Y3 removal of everything from Y1 & Y2.

It is a long term project, they said it was a ten year franchise, no where have they said that ten years would span both platforms. You have had two years to upgrade and transfer and now, in the update they've given a clear time line. Get your next gem console before August 2016

No, what's really a joke is you've had almost 3 years to save up 300$ and still haven't yet. You should have realized when you bought the game, that like any developer, bungie cannot focus on last gen forever. It simply cannot support he new dlc, and if you didn't see this coming then you're as blind as they come.

If you weren't able to save up 300 dollars over the like 10 year life span of old consoles in order to afford a new one which is infinitely better than idk what to say. They can't make a new era game with everything people want that caters to the limited technological capacity of old consoles to put it plainly.

I feel for you, dude. I felt they were going to see Vanilla out through this last DLC. Start saving, dude. I just bought TTK edition brand new on Ebay for $320. The prices are more reasonable nowadays. And you 3 months to do so. Can you spare $25 a week? Maybe don't go out on s Saturday or two?

It's 3 years old now, PS3 and Xbox 360 are only limiting the progress of Destiny. GTA dropped last gen ages ago and it's about time Destiny did the same, hell, it's questionable whether Bungie should have even bothered releasing the game for last gen at all. Be grateful that games and content have released for outdated hardware for as long as they have. Don't act self entitled

No, you weren't told that. You may have read articles about their contact with Activision to do the first game on old gen and new gen, and then switch to new gen only after year 2.
