Amazing pve heavy
So I think I found a little pve gem with the April update when the year one exotics got brought back. Personally, I've always loved the idea of the dragons breath but saw it as pretty awful in year one with the same exact texture as the solar flare grenade.
But
In year two I just recently acquired it and my god it literally melts bosses
The changed exotic perk is exactly what it needed
The bigger AOE is perfect to bring it back
I think it's a well rounded pve launcher despite having low velocity, magazines and blast radius (which is made up by the napalm)
10/10 would get if you're a pve player

1 ReplyI feel the same way. Hardly used DB in Y1, now it's my go to Exotic. When there is an abundance of purple bricks, i always try for the long distance shot and dump a bucket of fire on the enemies heads. Plus, the Napalm fire better suits the name of the rocket launcher.

5 RepliesIt's like a simulant damage if the boss sits still for 10 seconds, and it requires. Tether, it bounces off of floating stuff, however a knight was beating up my friend so I shot one across the map, and dropped the thing on that knights head. It was cool but you find other weapons better for bosses later in the game

1 ReplyThe enemies in year 2 are also more likely to stand in the fire then run out. That's why I'm using the solar grenade more now. I don't get many heavy drops so my play style is very light on the heavy use.

2 RepliesUsed it to sola the Crota Raid. Gun is awesome to use and before Crota's shield fully dropped he was standing in the fire looking like Satan himself
