Decided to try Destiny again after leaving ~1-2 weeks after heroic King's Fall dropped (realizing that I couldn't actually progress any farther without grinding the hell outta it). What should I know coming back into it?

Took off about the same time but came back a bit before you did. Drops have increased quite a bit, weapons seem a little more balanced although if your a pvp guy then you can expect more lag than usual. As far as PvE - Go to the court of oryx, run tier 3 and get yourself some good artifacts. Grind some PoE (challenge mode) and get some descent gear And dont be afraid to run the raid they've definitely upped the loot, it pays well now.

There are a bunch of new weapons (and the old PoE exotics) to get from PoE, so it's definitely worth doing. Just make sure to take advantage of the Sigil from Variks. That's where the good shit comes from. Different package types can drop some badass weapons now. They brought back some Vanilla weapons and they only come from packages. Rep is a lot easier to get now, though. People now think Hunters, Titans, and Warlocks are all OP (hooray for logic). They're actually pretty balanced, but now that they all seem unique, people are pissed that other classes can do things they can't. It's always something. Fusion rifles are good again. Snipers and heavy got an ammo nerf. Snipers also have slightly longer zoom and slower ADS speed (to prevent quick scoping). Heavy only drops once per match now. SBMM is in play, but they're working on fixing it. Quite a bit has changed, actually. That's just off the top of my head.

3 RepliesWhy do ppl make these posts, instead of just turing on the game and playing. I think I'm play battlefront tonight but I'm not gonna get on a fourm or reddit and announce it like I'm the queen of fuc.kin england.
