Oh yeah, forgot I switched to that...
Looking for those funny stories of Guardians that forgot they switched subclasses or guns and then went to use them and had an epic fail.
I personally have dove in from the sky on a control point harboring 4 opponents to bubble them and proceed to face palm as I was then used as a punching bag.
Activated my super as a hunter expecting golden gun to come to life and kill the two Guardians from a good distance away...what happened was I blade danced my way to them, made it about half way after standing there for a few seconds shaking my head to myself.
Edit: Hilarious stuff guys, loving it all as we have all been there. Sure it may not have been funny for you at the time, but looking back you can't help but laugh.
Edit: Pretty sure if this was a poll, FoH/bubble would be winning.

Nothing like trying to use shoulder charge while running as a defender Titan. Eaten a lot of double ought buckshot from that little blunder. Particularly enjoyable when I made sure to put on the Standasides first yet forgot to switch to striker. Grenades can be fun too. Thought I was a striker Titan and was going to throw a lightning grenade into the middle of several opponents standing on a flag. Was Sunstriker and I proceeded to launch the solar grenade into orbit since they can be thrown farther. I could swear I saw the enemies actually watch the grenade like a pitcher that threw a home run ball before they all turned and sent me to Valhalla. On Undying Mind we were at the boss. I like the Exotic Swords for those fights to help with adds. Thought I had the solar equipped and ran at a yellow bar Minotaur. Switch to heavy, go for the special attack, and KBLAM! I had a rocket launcher equipped and hit the Minotaur when he was standing right in front of me. Guardian down.

I was rushing b on Shores of Time as a Warlock because most of the enemy team is up there. I floof up and hit my super, expecting to vaporize them with a nova bomb. Instead, i activate radiance and get sniped in the two seconds it took me to figure out what happenwd

4 RepliesYesterday in Iron banner the opposing team ran around teabagging alot. I never teabag, but they kind of got on my nerves with that stuff. A warlock was chasing me and i rounded a corner, turned around to give him/her a nice fusion blast meltdown. Succes made me celebrate with a slow ball dipping. I felt childish. As i walk away i hear the warlock rise from the dead, and i die in a sea of solar granades. Never seen anyone teabag me so fast.

Had a game in the Iron Banner a few days ago, ran up on a Titan that had bubbled (planning really just to try and catch him off guard and hope to break his armor and kill him quickly) he was running weapons and I dropped him in one shotgun blast. I was so amazed that I made a mental note of his gamertag to look for him later in the match and hope for the same result. Well I did find him later on, he dropped bubble, and of course I rushed in thinking I would get him again. Little did I know he had switched to armor (my assumption is that he didn't realize he was running weapons until after he had dropped the bubble and I killed him). He proceeded to royally annihilate me and then he clapped over my body for a bit. It was fun. Also whenever I run my warlock (I always run nova bomb) I have this incredible ability to jump up to get a better vantage point for my nova bomb, only to find my jump homing in on the one place along the ceiling or wall where something will block the path of my nova bomb. Had maybe 6-8 times where my nova bomb has hit something that I unknowingly jumped behind. Great fun I also tend to be really bad at remember that my titan cannot nova bomb when I switch from my warlock to my titan in the Iron Banner. Many a times have I fist of Havoc'd a poor innocent patch of grass miles from any enemies

i went charging around a corner in Trials to fist of havoc the whole team and instead pulled by golden gun out. i say "pulled out" what i mean is i managed to unfasten the holster before i got slaughtered. *facepalm*

I keep thinking I'm stormcaller and activate my super, expecting to come around the corner and wipe out the four enemy guardians waiting there... But instead uselessly throw nova bomb into the wall. Ugh

The worst for me is going from a fusion to a shotgun, spamming the precharge habit always gets me...I'm like whelp there goes all my special ammo...

Go for zone b and realize in mid air that I am a hunter, try to save it, then realize I have also decided to try better control instead of triple jump. Fml time to see what's at the bottom of this cliff

Challenge of Elders several days ago. Was using Titan, and Defender. Got swarmed by Thrall and Arcolytes in Hive map, wizards were shooting from nearby, health was low and I needed to reload. So I'd just pop a bubble, melee the thrall, and recharge and reload while the wizards shot the bubble. Hit the buttons and did a Hulk Smash! At least I killed all those thrall! I survived long enough to run behind a column and reload!

Positioned myself a good distance from a Taken event boss and prepared to throw my hammers only to plant a Fist of Havok instead. Rather ineffective at that distance. And then boogie on out of there as all the adds recover from their laughter and start to annihilate me.
