Guardians,
I am going to break forum protocol and use a fellow guardian's gamer tag. Mods please don't ban the post.
Earlier today our fellow guardian and my clan leader Schloss_Ritter passed away from a sudden heart attack.
Schloss was just about the nicest guy you could ever ask to play Destiny with. He always kept his cool (even when I was having a less than flattering rage over something stupid). If you ever needed help accomplishing a goal or another partner for PvP he was ready and willing.
When my last clan broke up he made a new one for our group of friends.
I was just playing IB with him last night until about 2 am ET (1 am his time). His skill at playing Destiny was only matched by his big heart and friendly voice.
I never managed to meet him or his wife IRL, but had spoken with both over many gaming sessions.
I will really miss playing Destiny with him and chatting about the latest events. My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and family.
The message guardians - life is precious. Make the most of it. Make friends, live, love, enjoy life as you don't know when it will be over.
RIP Schloss and thanks for everything.
