When you shadestep you are still a physical object, you just turn purple I get killed so easily when I'm chased its only useful in certain pve scenarios
-
3 RepliesIt removes tracking, it is on only one subclass, the ability to dodge tracking is way too good for only hunters to have... i like diversity but some things are too good to not share, I want that ability on my Titan or on no class.

2 RepliesI dont think this is op and i dont think shoulder charge is op either. And i use a gunslinger so I cant shadestep anyway, and i will never touch a nightstalker in pvp because it's too defensive. I think hat if we get rid of shadestep, we get rid of shoulder charge and whatever the warlock special is too
-
Hunter main and ss needs a trim. You don't take damage
-
I call bs I stuck people with grenades and shadstep the damage
-
Actually I main a hunter and it is faster than Strafing. Only by a little bit
-
2 RepliesOnly issue with shadestep is how it breaks the shooters aim assist. There is no reason it should do that when it can be used in quick succession.
-
I watched a video of a player, and he'd pop out for a look with a sniper for maybe a second, and than instantly shadestep backwards, whether he saw someone or not. It was at this point I realized the game offers too many ways to be annoying, and not enough ways to have a fun gunfight anymore
-
6 RepliesNot even going to go into detail. Check you tube. It will prove 90% of what you said wrong. It needs to be adjusted a little. You like most other just don't want it touch because you know bungie will over do it like always. Sorry sad but true.
-
3 RepliesI agree completely. If they do need shadestep they better need a twilight Garrison too. Aldo I have a feeling all the people complaining are salty warlocks mad at Bungee for not giving them an evasive maneuver.
-
2 RepliesJust as one simple example, I was headshot by an 1000-Yard Stare DURING my shadestep, which proves two large points that have been debated on these forums.

Swear to -blam!-ing God, if they nerf shadestep I'm gone. I don't even PvP that much, I PvE! I need it for PvE!

Even blink, which is literally a teleport doesn't cancel out tracking. LOL.
-
It should have more of a cool down than it does. You should be able to shadestep two times in a row and between each time is a seven second decrease time. #Tamponmasterrace
-
2 RepliesIt needs a cool down increase
-
3 RepliesI agree for the most part. I will admit that it shouldn't cancel tracking though.
-
2 RepliesTitans have basically the same ability plus they have shoulder charge on the defender class. Warlocks get the angel of light thing and super effective nades so I see shade step as balanced. If not a little under balanced.
-
Edited by J dub0928: 5/22/2016 7:20:14 PMIt does make you invisible or you wouldn't get the I see you medal when killing someone midstep. And it definitely makes certain nades miss. You can also snipe accurately coming right out of shadestep...it's a bit ridiculous when the animation looks like it hasn't finished and there is no glint and you get headshot
-
Agree, shadestep is not op because you can still take damage. Because one time in trials when i was resed and someone tried to hardscope me, i tried to shadestep out of the way but still got killed.
-
6 RepliesThe only real over powered feature is just to take off tracking but to tell you the truth, it feels like the best way to counter a sunsingers fire bolt grenade, an to tell you the truth it's completely fair. However it actually does have immunity frames, I have a video on Xbox that I would gladly share with you just to show you legit proof why they should take off the immunity frames. But as I said before, it feels like it's kinda the right thing to dodge the grenades the way it does, it kinda balances out the huge ass burn from the fire bolt grenades. To bad for titans though. An if you have a Xbox One I'll gladly send you the video, gamer tag over here. -Hunter

13 RepliesYou forgot so say it doesn't avoid the lock on from Stormtrance...when it totally does.
-
9 RepliesThe only thing it needs is like 2 seconds tacked onto the cool down time and it's perfect. When someone is just spamming it because the cool down is so short then it gets annoying. Nothing about it is op. Just if blink and the Garrison have multiple second cool down times so should shadestep.
