Halo 5 Infection Detailed!

Halo 5 infection has recently gained a preview, which was very...[u]different.[/u] For one thing, players start with the AR an Shotgun. This is to prevent the Infected from being boxes in their spawns. If you have played Alpha Zombies on The Cage before the TU update in Reach, you understand what they mean. Still, everything was well thought out and tested for maximum performance. A new addition is [i]frag grenades![/i] Survivors get two of these bad boys at start, and they have proven VERY effective. This is where shit goes down-we have [u]weapon pickups![/u] Snipers, rail guns, hydras, magnums, BRs, DMRs, and many other weapons join the flat with limited ammo. In the preview, we saw how it played. Shotguns still overtook most weapons (as you'd expect) but the mix of weapons causes encounters to be much more intense! Here is a list of changes from the original: -Alpha Zombies now have partial Active Camo instead of sprinting. Zombies are faster, have double thrusts, and can jump higher, but [u]do not[/u] have sprint. Speed was increased to compensate. Now, Alphas can lock down areas much more easily than before. -Survivors have normal traits, and Last Man Standing is the same-a shield buff. This time, we have a setting in custom games to have MULTIPLE last men standing. We can have one, two, three, anything we want! Survivors spawn with frags, AR, and Shotgun. -Maps included in the playlist include an infected variant of Riptide, Plaza, and Overgrowth, all edited on Forge. Weapon layouts were changed, and doors were blocked, hallways extended, etc. More community maps will also be featured (as announced earlier before this reveal). -Infected HUD will have veins around the edges, and Infected will have a pestilence effect around them. This is quite similar to Reach. This makes Infected players more visible. -Survivors have their custom armor and own colors. Same general scoring system. -Weapon pickup enabled! Infected swords CANNOT be picked up. -Last man standing has infinite ammo! Save that SPNkR for the end! -Infected still have one shot headshots! -Survivors spawn together, away from zombies. Maps have power weapons away from the spawns of survivors. Sniper rifle on Riptide, or as they call it here, R.I.P.tide, is by the zombie spawn, for example.
