From the UK here so our age ratings are 12-15 18 etc, what is M classed as? I'm assuming its 18+?

Its a depends how far they go. If it was a low m it would still be a 16 but from what he wants itd be an 18. But teen is usually equivalent to a 12
-
OK, I always thought the US had R rating for 18+ or do they have different grades of 18+
-
Its different grades. Like deadpool was an R in the us but was a 15 in the uk. But it is usually teen is 12 m is 15/16 and r is 18. But because the boards who evaluate it are different you get a few that are different.

Edited by monkyken: 5/9/2016 1:42:53 PMAh interesting, and slightly unusual, I'm not sure how deadpool got a 15 rating over here. To be fair to OP, the options available to the game if they upped the rating slight would be pretty good, a bit of alien style blood, pooling from dead body's or splattering the wall behind kills would add a hint of realism to the game that it currently doesn't have. That would be more my interest over swearing etc.

I think with an m over there itd still be a 16 here. But itd be cool to explore a darker side of the destiny universe. Its very light hearted seeing as there is a constant threat of aliens. With a higher rating we could see a twilight gap style incident and faction wars could come back.

Edited by Executor Hideo: 5/9/2016 6:54:16 PMFaction Wars should not come back lore-wise, but I agree on a Darker side of the story. I mean, it started out as telling you that Humanity waa on the brink of extinction, and you just kind of went, "lol, where?" Everyone seems so happy. Every mission seems like a success. The speaker talks about the hopelessness, but the only thing in the game (not coumting grimoire) is the battle between the queen and Oryx. It's the only time where it actually feels hopeless...
-
I dont think the faction wars should be playable but we are told they are awful so to see some aftermath or something like areas of the city in ruins and divides between neighbourhoods of different factions would be cool.

Edited by Executor Hideo: 5/9/2016 7:46:59 PMOr maybe an NPC faction, like the Concordant. PvE missions that feel kind of like the Crucible. The Tower Factions have agreed to remain friendly to each other, but they are not the only Factions, after all...

Yeah. I just want to see some consequence of this fight weve been told is terrible but weve never seen any evidence for. The most evidence weve got is the bannerfall map. Where there is a wall between 2 clearly marked zones. New monarchy and the concerdat(?). Two opposing factions built a giant wall and a border checkpoint style thing.

Edited by Executor Hideo: 5/9/2016 7:52:27 PMActually, it was a battlefield, not a border, but yes. Have an area like Bannerfall where you are fighting NPC Guardians... But also remember that they are Guardians. Not the Darkness. So even when you complete the Mission, it is not a Victory...

"I could tell you of the collapse, but f*ck that right. This guardian stuff is a right laugh you get super powers and everything"
