That way we could get darker themed storylines. Executing dregs one by one to extract information. Watching blood splatter. Cayde making adult jokes. Giving the middle finger emote. Bringing back assassinations. The possibilities are endless. The T rating really held destiny back.

I know right, it's not like parents care nowadays.
-
Yes please!!
-
I'd enjoy assassinations, darker plot lines, more adult based lines, and some profanity (cons on cayde-6 swearing).
-
I agree with you, It's not like kids aren't gonna get their hands on it anyway
-
I can never see that happening, but I'd be fine with that
-
I think we need more Cayde, lots & lots more Cayde!
-
"There's no f***ing time to explain why there's no Godd**n time!"
-
I just think there should be just blood like halo.

3 RepliesDarker themes don't always equate to better stories.

"Hell to the naw!"

6 RepliesI honestly think the game is better at T. It feels more kind of laid back, you don't exactly play this game to have some NPC yell "GET TO THE F*CKING SHIP YOU USELESS ASSHOLE SHITSTAIN N*GGER F*CKBOY!" All this while characters are just a walking pair of tits on legs and an ass inhaling a constant stream of drugs while an unrealistic amount of blood flies everywhere from one little bullet in a dull, grey environment for the sake of being edgy. Just my 2 cents.

Edited by Tempo Delta: 5/9/2016 10:13:10 PMIf people judge a game based off its rating, then I don't want them giving Bungie advice on how to make the game better. You could list hundreds of great game titles that didn't require a M rating to be good. Super Smash Brothers Melee was rated T and was incredibly violent (you could debate otherwise but it was basically Nintento Fight Club) yet was one of the most iconic games of its generation. No blood, no vulgarity. Stop wishing vulgar content on a perfectly good game when it doesn't need it to begin with. Just come out with it already, admit you just wanna see your Guardian's tits.
-
Destiny will be rated E by the time #3 comes out.
-
You psychopath, BTW.
-
Bump!!!!!
-
BOO Seriously, man. I hate M rated games, I feel like all the stuff that makes it M rated just drags down the game, is useless, and creates contention with players. Plus, the T rating gave Destiny a wider player base. BOO.
-
I don't think it should be explicit for just the sake of being explicit tho.
-
Are you stupid? Not that I think it would do any harm to the game, but it certainly wouldn't help. Look at CoD, Halo, Etc. games that get M ratings don't deter squeakers from playing the game. Their parents buy the game and often play it themselves. If the M included a clause allowing them to ban nerf-herders, that would be different.

12 RepliesLess likely to happen, they would lose not a whole lot of money but quite a bit for an impact.

PresidenteBushSee you on Tau Ceti IV - old
I don't think that any of those things you listed would add anything to the story, or the gameplay. Sure, it might be a funny novelty for a little while, but once that wore off, the game would still be the same. Vulgarity for the sake of vulgarity is unnecessary. -
Nah, it's just fine the way it is. Not everything needs to be filled with language and gore to be good. Destiny is already pretty dark as it is.
-
From reading your post, if it was you wouldn't be allowed to buy it.
-
Nah I like how tame and calming destiny is, it's art style just would look as good if there was blood splattering everywhere
ps you sound like a psychopath
-
1 ReplyThat's just cruel The t rating make Guardians heroes instead of villans

I hope not
