Why can't we have Challenge Of Elders with random boss waves and modifiers each round?
Edit:
Start at 270, jumps in tens every round till 340, at which point every round will add a new modifier, and modifiers continue to carry over.
Original
adding +5 light each round, starting at 260 light. Once they reach 335(round 15) they start going up by +1 up until 340 light. After that you get objectives to complete also, with extra objective in each round being added every 5 rounds from then, to a limit of three, after that the rounds will add more majors in too.
And for every third round, you get loot drops and House of judgement and the chances of legendaries increase. Also your House of Judgment rep gain is multiplied every three rounds.
You're run ends when all players go down in one round.
Edit 2: People are saying it would take to much time
As opposed to constantly Reloading the weekly CoE, of course

If this was a petition it is signed

It is fun however the 41 arena should give more rewards and equal rank up score as CoE. You must wait 5 rounds to get 1 boss.

I'd actually love a Mayhem version for PoE/CoE. Engrams, orbs, and bounties for everyone!
-
I'd rather they have a survival mode where you fight endless increasingly difficult waives of enemies on crucible maps. That we we'd get to experience fighting the darkness where we normally only fight other guardians.
-
"It'll take too long!" then play regular CoE, problem solved.
-
6 RepliesUhm, no. The best thing about CoE is how quick it is.
-
Like I want to do that shit endlessly 8~/
-
1 ReplySo long as it's only boss rounds, or regular rounds without objectives. Nothing worse than killing all the adds then waiting 2 minutes for the -blam!-ing mines to spawn in.
-
I just wish what we had for much more difficult and 5 rounds of bosses
-
1 ReplyTakes up too much time.

2 RepliesPass. Don't understand some of you people's obsession with this endless rot, and this is coming from a Reach Firefight aficionado.
-
I like this
-
1 ReplyOr have it start at 300 and go up by 10 until 340. Then instead of increasing the light lvl, what if an additional modifier was added? Specifically one that makes things harder like the one that makes enemies not flinch.

5 RepliesEdited by Inkvisitorn: 5/9/2016 1:50:07 PMIn my experience, even the old PoE challenges still takes around ten to fifteen minutes for each round. The Challenge of the Elders usually takes around twenty to thirty minutes each round. So, lets say that one PoE round takes fifteen minutes to complete. If you get loot every third three rounds, you'll have played for roughly 45 minutes until you get your first loot drop, maybe less since the difficulty isn't that high at that point. But from that point onwards, it'll take roughly fourty minutes until you reach the next level of loot. With a difficulty that is constantly rising, the time to complete a round will rise with it. You'll have to spend hours to get a good chance at legendaries at Exotics, and that time would be better spent on King's Fall, where one run of that equals three or four rounds of this, if you have a team that knows what they're doing. Considering the time you'll have to put into this, the rewards are absolutely awful, honestly. EDIT: And everyone ignores the point I'm trying to make and instead focus on telling me that I suck because I can't finish a round of CoE as fast as they can. Brilliant. Simply brilliant. I'm not a "hardcore" player like you. I would say that there are a large number of more "casual" players who are not able to do a speedrun like you all apparently can.

Random ... -blam!- off. The random stuff in that game kills already all fun.

2 RepliesStart it 310 260 is crazy

This isn't how endless arena should work.

I get the feeling it would take too long. It would be 15 rounds to get to 335, which would take aaaaages. Then another 10 rounds to get to 345, which is probably the max people could go to. Also if there's even a single accidental wipe, which I've seen happen on easy PoE, then it's back to the start. But otherwise sounds cool.
-
Holy hell that would take forever. Nah, I'm good.
-
good idea, instead of 1 round where everyone dies tho, i would make a death limit per round so self rez could gappen once but if they go down again even with self rez they stay down. 1 rez per round is fair and allows the challange to continue incase of mishap. Altho with round difficulty increase and potential for higher and higher levels add in check points.

4 RepliesIt would still be easy because everyone would be warlocks and run self Rez
