I use the accuracy one in PvP... Maybe it's just a placebo effect but I feel like there's less "....ummmm... How did that not hit them??" moments. I also like to fire it from the air most of the time and feel like it helps for that too. Just cuz the hip fire reticle gets smaller doesn't mean that's "all" it does? Right? Or did someone figure out that it doesn't do anything else. Either way more accuracy while hip firing is always a good thing. The throwing knife with GG active one is pretty dumb. But it technically would work fine in pve. There's plenty of enemies that die from a throwing knife headshot. Maybe they're in your way and you don't want to waste your golden gun shot on them? Again it's pretty dumb But isn't one of the other options in that column to reduce the cool down of golden gun which is pretty good. Or knives catching people on fire. Maybe those aren't in the same column but either way, all 3 that you mentioned are fine. The range one is fine, the knife one is situational but fine, and I think you're underestimating dead eye for PvP. Doesn't every subclass have some useless or very situational perks? I main gunslinger and I'm perfectly fine with the subclass tree.

Thank you for commenting. You find the skill tree for Gunslinger fine, and I respect that, but in comparison to the new subclasses, It just can't compete, same with a couple other subclasses. The new subclasses are so versatile and non-situational that I rarely don't see people crying for nerfs. Few people actually see that the older subclasses need to be reworked slightly so they can compete fairly.

  • Can't compete? In PvP? I think we're gonna have to just agree to disagree. Gunslinger is just a good all around PvP class. If you can't use trip mines and knives effectively then I could see why someone would think it's underwhelming. And yes unlike many other subclasses nobody calls for a nerf on this one.... That's a good thing! Is it not? You also don't see people calling for buffs on it. Because it's balanced. Just because a couple other classes need a couple things tweaked doesn't mean we need to bring all of them up to OP levels. I don't know... I'm just gonna respectfully disagree with your post.
Make no mistake, as far as neutral game goes, Gunslingers are fairly balanced, but it could use more viable options like a couple other older subclasses as well.
It's the super itself that is starting to fall off my radar because it only gets three chances to kill on average in comparison to Sunbreakers and Stormcallers which can wipe teams easily, not to mention they both get Damage resistance while Golden Gun does not.
