I honestly can't see how people can hit consistent headshots on a moving target with a sensitivity above 4, with weapons like snipers/scouts/hc's etc. I know I have major trouble doing it with the joystick controller.. (Even after a couple weeks of trying to adjust to higher sensitivity)
This basically forces me to play with a sensitivity of 3 or 4 and that feels a lot better to me. Cool. Easy fix.
The problem is, at this sensitivity, the speed in which my character turns is now way too slow and causes problems with general awareness and switching to targets that aren't directly in front of you..
Ideally I would want an ADS (aiming down sights) sensitivity of 3, and a general character turning sensitivity of 6 or 7.
Surely it wouldn't be that hard for this to be implemented? I know many other games do it. Is there a reason Destiny does not?
Does anyone else share this problem and would like to see 2 separate sensitivity levels implemented in the game, and if not, why not?
I would love to get a response from Bungie as to if this would be possible and why it hasn't/can't be implemented. It would make a huge difference to PVP enjoyability for me.

Hopefully PS gets a customizable controller like the elite. The sticks have "aggressive" versus "smooth" settings so you can do just that.

I play on 8 and have no problem sniping or using scouts. Higher sensitivity allows me to get sights on enemies who use evade tactics (shadestep, blink, twilight garrison) much easier. Its almost like when somepne blinks above me, that they dont expect me to be able to look up that fast

I wish the settings of battlefield were in every game. It lets you customize everything like the sensitivity you have while ADS and a lot more.

3 is fine if you can predict where people are going

1 ReplySame problem. I use a 3 sensitivity because I snipe a lot, but I find myself struggling when my enemies jump and they're really close to me. The fact that I main a Hunter and my melee doesn't have that much auto-aim like Warlock's melees surely doesn't help. I too would like to see something more detailed about sensitivity to have a better flexibility and customization. Final thought: Is it a good thing that we have to choose between good mid-to-long-range game or CQC abilities?

3 RepliesI understand where you are coming from, I have a lot of experience playing on low and max sensitivities on different games. Back in my cod days liek 4-5 years ago I played competitive and was all into the trickshotting scene, I would go from playing some GB's on 3-4 to sniping onling going for trickshots on 10(max for mw2). I would play one game to adjust and I was fine. The only suggestion with this is to just practice, There really is in my opinion only one way to practice, say you are comfortable on a 6 but struggle sniping on it, turn up to 10 and play through a bunch of PVE content with a sniper on 10, this way when you return back to you comfortable sensitivity it is very easy to control. If you like to play on 10 normally just practice with a sniper a lot.

2 RepliesI slowly move mine up, currently on 8 after just going from 7

2 RepliesI go with a solid 6, everything feels nice and smooth.

Yeah I hear you dude. The Division allows you to change it and it's a god send. Would be great to be able to change the ADS movement speed

3 RepliesI guess at this point at least, its just part of the core game mechanics, a compromise everyones forced to make.
