So uh. Why nerf Strikers?
What needs to be needs to be nerfed? Nothing. And for people saying shoulder charge, if you're half decent with a god damn gun you can easily put a charging Titan [spoiler]Down Below[/spoiler] with a few shots. Stop the damn whining. Pleeeeease.
Edit: To those few saying "Ohhhh it's a one hit kill" A one hit kill that you can see charging at you, and in most cases have time to gun down before being hit. That said, fusion grenade are a one hit if they stick, shotguns usually one hit along with a few other abilities. So the one hit thing is invalid. It honestly wouldn't be a viable perk if it wasn't one hit. Wouldn't be a reason to use it.
Edit 2:Honestly, all a striker nerf would do is effectively kill it's pvp viability. It couldn't even be considered a Nerf. Not like neutering. Let's be honest, all year ones km now this. Striker Titans had it rough from day. Blaming. One. And with all these new, flashy supers, we pretty much faded into obscurity. Until our name came up next on the nerf list because "my blink didn't save me from the mean shoulder" or "I can't aim at a charging player 20 feet away, who's running in a straight line so I can keep them from one hit killing me." Come the blame on. It's blaming motherblaming ridiculous at this point. Stop the damn whining. And to address Titan skating. It's difficult to do, and very easily countered by various things. In addition to that, the amount of Titan skating I see in my pvp matches are very low. So the complaints are most likely coming from people who are just anally traumatized due to lack of skill.

The only thing that I hate about the striker is that they can slide around a corner and still shoulder charge. In my opinion, sliding should stop you from being able to blindly shoulder charge around a corner, hitting anything on the other side. But I play defender so I don't care.

1 ReplyWarlock main here, no problem with strikers. I'm pretty happy with where all subclasses are at the moment, Maybe look at the gunslinger tree and buff some useless nodes (i'm looking at you, circle of life). otherwise, perfectly happy with class balance.

Juggernaut shield needs a slight damage resistance nerf to not survive GG or a sniper headshot. FoH needs a horizontal blast radius buff.

The answer is really quite simple if you think about it. It's Bungie and they always have to nerf something. Now it's the Striker next time it's something else then another after that. They will always nerf something and buff something up to a point that true balance will never be achieved. One day you might even see all guns do one damage and all abilities do the exact same thing just because they will get sick and tired of doing the wrong thing over and over again trying to find balance the wrong way.

Well said As a regular striker player I have been killed many times with a well wielded shotgun, and if you cant do that you could just move backwards it usually works just fine.

Anyone who asks for any nerf for striker Titan seriously just needs to either -deal with it -get good -play another game Why? Because there will ALWAYS be something to cry about in crucible and Bungie will never please everyone.
