Firebolts are broken!!! WHEN WILL THIS END??
Firebolts are by far the best grenades in the history of destiny. Of you can name one grenade that is or was better than this grenade I will kill myself right -blam!-ing now. DIDN'T THINK SO!!!
So you guys did nothing to them, not even a light damage reduction when paired with Viking funeral. Why?? Why??? -blam!-ing WHYYY?!??
Anyways, Warlocks have the best recovery in the game, with the ram they have the most armor. The controlled jump makes them fast and they can glide forever. The melee is twice as much as the Titan and 3 times as much as hunters.
Why is this game warlock favored? why is it the only class that can compete with the sunsinger is the Nightstalker, which is broken btw because shadestep and smoke.
In conclusion you guys need to stop nerfing primaries and start buffing them. The real problem is subclasses in this game. Any good subclass with even a terrible primary or special will dominate in the crucible.

Firebolt grenades do take little skill to use compared to other grenades, while also dealing heavy damage. So my suggestions would either be to remove/tweak Viking Funeral, or reduce the range of the Firebolt Grenade when using Viking Funeral. That way it takes more skill to get heavy damage.

1 ReplyLet me pick your post apart one piece at a time... 1. Firebolt is good, but requires 2 perks to be good, and can't be placed to create a trap or barrier like trip mine and lighting. It also can't OHK like trip mine or stickies. So it's in a good place. Just annoying. 2.if you think glide is good you obviously have not had to deal with good snipers, because they pick off gliding warlocks like it's nothing. Also glide is slow as shit for dodging things like rockets. 3. Yes they have a good melee and grenade but only because they don't have any combat perks like keen scout, shadestep, shoulder charge, quockdraw, warmachine, etc etc. 4. If warlocks are so OP and can only be matched by nightstalkers why are warlocks outnumber 5:1 in the crucible leaderboards by hunters, and 2:1 by titans. Warlocks barely show up in crucible leader boards at all. And don't even get me started on how worthless they are for endgame pvp content. (Nobody even wants warlocks for kings fall raid)

Oh yeah that wombo combo is pretty a nice tactic but yeah let's just talk about how OP firebolt is and rant when Bungie said they will be left alone. The class was balanced and barely touched, crucibabies complaining about every little thing and that ruined titans now warlocks are almost useless with their new subclass from TTK but you know that nerf wasn't enough people still complaining about it. Sun singers are a joke. All they have is fire bolts.. Muted disliked reported hidden Trip mines, incendiary, scatter, lightning, are just a few that can kill only using one

2 RepliesThis people is a salty crappy player at its finest. Uses a broken as Bladedancer class with easy to use skip grenades. QuickDraw and the common Last Word Sniper combo. No uniqueness in his setup. But complains about another persons setup since it counters his hard scoping corners set up.

If it really bothers you that much get armor that reduces solar burn, or increased armor while using a specific sub class. If it still bothers you don't leave yourself in the open, fire bolts won't go through cover and walls. If it STILL bothers you just stay out of that mid range distance where it's easy to throw grenades at, stay back and snipe with your sniper or scout. Hell if you wanted get in their face with a shotgun and doctrine of passing, there's literally so many options to avoid it. If you get hit by it you deserve is for not playing smart.

I like how the firebolt/touch of flame combo has been available since the beta and people are suddenly complaining about it this year. I honestly have never had any issues with it. It's a valid tactic, just like hunters that use the vortex/venom combo.

Lol warlocks favoured? We're the only class without exotic leg armor and our new year 2 exotics except for impossible machines were trash i mean really remember how hard warlock users where were when we saw Stag in the advertising and it turned out to be a turd. So.....yeah a nood a day can feed a warlocks super.

I main a Sunsinger. Firebolts are overpowered in my opinion, but I don't see any decent nerf to a grenade based class. That being said, Lightning grenades do the same amount of damage and have riduculous range and spread. Skip grenades (the dumbest grenade out there) chases you for about 10 seconds u til it finally ceases. So, essentially every class has a sticky grenade, a bolt type grenade and a chasing grenade (except titan, but they make up for it).
