320 Artifact?
How do I get an artifact that is over 310? I've been playing with a 310 artifact for a few weeks now, all my other items are 320 or above. Any ideas?

1 ReplyRaid challenge modes. It's Oryx this week, normal mode will drop up to 320, heroic up to 335. That's the only guaranteed way, but with tier 3 (antiquated)Court of Oryx runes, you have a very good chance to get one. Court of Oryx tier 3 is the Fanatic of Crota this week, and with an influx of people doing that, odds are you will easily find a group willing to help you if you aren't confident in being a sword bearer or if you have never done Crota's End.

3 RepliesCourt of Oryx is your friend. Stolen runes gave me up to 320. But I was lucky using antiquated runes.4 X 333,4 X 334 and last 3 times gave me an 335 (after I was 330 light). So I think that CoO is the (fast) way to get one if you are not unlucky.Just saying that because a friend of mine cannot land a single artifact this week (he used both stolen and antiquated runes and had zero drops.I know because I was there and thinking "WTF?").

Since you've got 0 raid completions I'll assume raiding is out of the question. Therfore, the most logical decision is to wait for iron banner next week. Rank up to 3 or 5? I seem to have forgotten. Anyway you'll get a guaranteed 320 artifact.

I got 2 335 artifacts from oryx challenge mode on my warlock. Kept one on my lock and used the other for infusion on my titan. Try doing the oryx challenge this week. Maybe you'll get lucky.

Edited by Deadmennwalking: 4/22/2016 2:50:45 AMCourt of Oryx. Tier 3 Antiquated Rune. This should regularly drop an artifact up to 5 light levels above your current light level. For example on my hunter over 3 runes = 2 x 335 artifact, titan over 2 runes = 2 x 335 artifact, warlock over 3 runes 2 x 335 artifact. Another option is to do the KF oryx challenge. Again this will drop an artifact up to 5 light levels above your current light level. Next weeks iron banner will drop: "Rank package rewards have been adjusted: Increased Rank 3 package Artifact to 320 Light Increased Rank 5 package Ghost to 320 Light" I hope this helps and good luck.

Court of oryx drops max light artifacts. Also raid challenges & now Iron banner. So yea farm CoO that's how I got my 333 artifact.

Wait till Iron Banner. Rank 3 package will drop a 320 artifact, rank 5 will drop a 320 ghost
