Don't Rush the Treasure Room
I haven't done Prison of Elders often. I actually had a stockpile of Keys until I turned them in for rep this week.
Last night I did the level 41 POE matchmade. After getting through the last round, I made sure I didn't rush down the hole to the treasure room, knowing I could die if I wasn't careful. Right before I reached the bottom the match ended, and I was whisked to orbit... shut out of the treasure room.
Don't be a jerk. Let everyone who worked for the rewards get them.

4 RepliesPart of the challenge in Poe is getting to the treasure room in time. It's a race. If you're not fast enough, stay out of the treasure room. It's like playing trials. You just didn't make it to the light house.

It isn't hard at all to get there quick. It's rather easy. That being said, I do always wait for both teammates to be on the ground.

Or maybe learn to jump down the shaft in under 10 minutes

Although I rush the treasure room I will agree with you. Be courteous to the people who have helped you run the prison. Not like we should be in any rush to get the items that are mainly garbage, waiting an extra ten seconds is just too hard for people I guess.

I'll wait a little, but honestly if it takes you 40+ seconds just to get down that hole that's on you dude. I'm sorry but I'm not going to wait all day if you're moving that slow

I tend to wait before opening chests in treasure room that way ppl have time to descend and/or grab the ghost if not done so beforehand, it's only fair they help out they deserve the loot too but sadly there are selfish guardians out there

4 RepliesOkay seriously what is wrong with this -blam!-ing new generation , it's like they thrive on the misery of others , it's like common courtesy has become , rare courtesy and people just have no respect for their fellow man . granted I'm not asking you to wait 10 minutes for the guy , but if you see the guy is inactive . After 2-3 minutes Send him a message asking if he wants the chest and if he doesn't respond back , just open it . At least that way you can say you try , and not look like a massive twat

Bungie should make it that you get the treasure anyways. Have it pop up on the screen when you get back to orbit or something. Also, the rewards aren't anything for the 41 chests, so don't worry too much about missing some coins and motes.

You have a full 30 seconds to get to the treasure chest, and that's after your allies open the first chest! Now, there's being careful, but then there's whatever your doing... and that's a little too careful... there is almost no excuse for not being able to jump down a few platforms in under 30 seconds... unless the architects kill you, there is almost no other excuse.

4 RepliesIt's sad when someone asking for help gets shit on by huge assholes just because they're honest enough to admit they're not a great player with tons of experience. For those of you that gave helpful advice in a respectful way, thank you. For the rest of you, I hope you keep your online attitudes hidden when in front of someone in real life. Otherwise, I'd expect you'd get your asses kicked, often. It's always fascinating to see how a computer screen makes someone brave.

I'm on PS4/PS3 refuse to play with assholes - anyone in here is welcome to add me, I have a great group of friends always happy to help and do stuff with new people (lethallu) pretty average player but most of my mates are sweatmode ;D

I agree but a better solution would be for Bungie to fix the timeout issue so that each player's timer does not start until they open a chest. Imagine that... Bungie fixing a problem that Bungie caused..
