I didn't get diddly squat. I decided to treat myself by buying 10 dollars worth of silver to try and get at least ONE piece of desolate armor, and nothing. I just got a bunch of gauntlets. Nothing more than armor. I'm glad I did It though, because now I know not to buy from Bungie in the future

You paid real money for a random reward. Not exactly sure why you are surprised here.

Good point. But you didn't need to spend 10,- on it to do the math. You will get 3 packages every week until September (I guess). Plenty of time to complete it I would say. Those 10,- could have gotten you "The vanishing of Ethan Carter" or "Everybody has gone to the Rapture" when it was on sale. Don't buy this rng crap bro. Buy an emote if you really have that urge. At least you "know" what you are gonna get

I got two free desolate pieces on my Titan this week. 👍
-
I got a free chest piece for freeeeeee.
-
I got boots for free this week!
-
I got desolate legs from one of the free weekly packages lol. Only piece I have tho
-
I did 20 and got a full set on my titan:) Its really RNG!
-
1 ReplyYeah. The desolate armor seems to have less of a chance. And it seems like spektar gauntlets are really common. I just keep getting them
-
That's my biggest problem with the micros... I hate microtransactions, hate them, but... If you're going to have microtransactions for things, JUST SELL THE FCUKING THINGS! Don't be complete toolbags and bundle it up in a rng based package You could spend a 1000$ and never get the pieces you want Or spend 10$ and get everything It's just an underhanded business practice imo and i lost a lot of respect for bungie for setting it up that way, Activision was definitely chewing their ear off and convinced them to do it because they were the ones that started that bullshit.
-
They could have very easily made sure that no duplicates are received and that the items received are for the class that opened them, they just want you to keep spending money so they can satisfy Activision. Activision wanted the chests but did not program them and give them such horrible RNG and intentional duplicates. they know you keep getting duplicates. plenty of people have reported this and they turn a blind eye...as usual.
I tested my LUCK
Glad you realize that it was completely luck based and therefore you shouldn't be complaining that you didn't win at gambling and that you don't actually deserve anything (sarcasm)

You're going to have to throw more than $10 at the screen to please the rng God.
-
You knew it was rng lol Why are you so angry?
-
1 ReplyYou have a 1/4 chance of getting desolate, they should have taken out the possibility of getting spektar for other classes that would make it 50/50
-
8 RepliesYou're not buying from bungie, the eververse store is made and sold by activision, it says it right on the purchase box.
-
4 RepliesIt's Activision not Bungie..

20 bucks - full desolate (including class item), a ship, 6 vanguard boosters, 8 house of judgement boosters, a bunch of spektar gear for all characters, and a bunch of chromas. Inspect my titan if you want
-
I spent $20 to try and get vanguard rep boosters. I got about 6 house of judgment boosters and 0 vanguard ones. I guess I learned my lesson.

RNG > your ten dollars.

Its amazing that some of us thinks that just because there are 1 out of 4 options when opening the the treasure would translate to 1/4 chance.. There is no way its 25% fair chance of getting anything out of RNG.. the most seeked item would naturally have 5% or less to keep the gambling alive.

RNG based silver purchases. You pay money to get screwed (I bought some too).
-
Did you buy all silver packages at once or one at a time?? Works better if you buy them all at once and use them one after another. One at a time doesn't work
