Titans need an equal melee

I know this may get people angry, but it needs to be said. Hunters have a throwing knife, warlocks have a sniper range melee and titans have their shìtty t-rex arms. Something needs to change. I think titans should have a little more of something something besides a range buff to their melee. Not trying to start an argument. [spoiler]Please don't say anything about shoulder charge. It is not our melee.[/spoiler] *Edit* Good lord! How do people not understand that shoulder charge is not our default melee perk? It's an ability! Here's an example of what is a melee perk: storm fist. See? It's not that hard. *Edit* the sniper range melee was an exaggeration to those that didn't know.

  • Just like throwing knives aren't melees. But really my hunters melee hits only 60% of the time the other 40% hits but doesn't register.

  • Incase you didn't know warlock melee range is 5. Titan is 4.5, which is second best as Hunters are down at I think 3.5?

  • Sometimes I don't understand how sometimes you have Titans that don't get it. Yes, Titans have the lowest range but have the strongest melee damage. Dude takes one shot... ONE SHOT from any weapon. Melee them. Dead. At least with the striker/sunbreaker. Defenders are a different beast all together because your melee can literally be your shotgun... Yeah... One time before the patch, I was running my sunsinger. Got shot once by his mida, I Melee'd him. Got my shield. Striker comes at me punches me ONCE and I died instantly. Titans have the lowest range but are meant to crap on you in close quarters.

    To all you talking about shoulder charge, play the class and try it. Yes, it's glorious when it goes off (especially with Peregrine Greaves!). Things holding it back though: -Must be running to use it (crap maneuverability) -Doesn't start up instantly, have to prep -Doesn't always last long enough to close distance -Hit detection is the same as arc blade (I'm sorry Bladedancers. I understand. Play a bubble bro in PVP...), and you can't follow up with another swing -No extra armor, so shotgun often wrecks it mid charge Honestly, I love shoulder charge when it goes off without a hitch. 9 times out of 10, it has a hitch. It also doesn't save the Defender or Sunbro. I often use my charge (if I'm using it) to help close distance for a shotgun blast instead. It's more useful as maneuverability than as an actual punch.

    • Warlocks don't have a one hit kill melee. Hunters do, and Titans have shoulder charge, which a lot of people use.

      • Sniper range melee...that made me laugh.it has distance but that's a lil exaggerated. But I do think that if titans range doesn't get a buff then the strength of their melee should.they are walking tanks after all.it should be a one hitter quitter for titans,that would even things up a bit I think.having the recipient of said melee go flying from the impact would be awesome too

      • Titans get a free 1 hit melee just from running. All classes have 1 subclass that has a good melee, while the others are just standard. Only GG gets the throwing knife. Only StormCallers get the uber long melee range(while using a perk in subclass to extend it) Only Strikers get free melee for running. So if Titans get an equal melee the Hunters and warlocks should get a melee for just running, that diesn't use our melee charge as well.

          So your melee is the fastest. You have a super powerful melee and a melee that gets you a shield on kill that's way Better than flame shield. I will admit your melee is short but warlock melee's are supposed to be Long. That's their character. Shoulder charge is a one hit. It's an ability but 9/10 Titans run around and instant kill me all the -blam!-ing time. In my personal opinion. Titan melees are fine. Lightning nades are bullshit and have [b][i][u]HUGE[/u][/i][/b] radius. Someone show me a good way to help Titan melee but I think they are fine.

          • I know, I hate how a Hunter's Throwing knife, Throwable Smoke grenade, and Extended Range Melee all have less range than Warlocks. That shit is unfair.

          • Titans do have an equal melee. [spoiler]Warlock's have a little extra range with theirs[/spoiler] [spoiler]Hunters have a little extra speed with theirs.[/spoiler] [spoiler]Titans have a little extra damage with theirs.[/spoiler] Base damage can generally two hit an opponent in PvP without consideration of perks. You can feel the difference when playing all three classes.

            • Run Titan defender, use no back up plans, get kill with shot gun (conspiracy theory) which activates melee charge and gives you your shield, there's your range

                      My idea: a 20% range buff and exotic gauntlets that concuss enemies you melee. Not a blind, but a concuss. OR You actually balance Hunter/warlock melees. No 5 foot lunge. No overshield [i]and[/i] extremely long burn on [i]just a hit.[/i]

                    • Im a titan main and storm fist is really strong; one pulse burst and melee. It does 150ish damage. Melting point is deadly too the burn can last as long as viking funeral, i've had so many postmortem kills. Oh and you can do 180 melee damage to someone that is burning from melting point. Good against storm callers. Force barrier OP you basically have two lives, and partnered with no back up plans results in amazingness. Now i know we have to get close but that's what a Titan is made for; close quarter combat. The only thing i can suggest is that the sunbreaker gets a c4 kind of thing but can't hail Mary it. #Titansupergamestrong
