What's the point of farming COE?
I haven't seen a drop like the 30k point drop yet? Just Rares in the low 300s.
Edit: Thanks for the answers. Didn't know you had to farm for so long. I'll probably run here and there, because it gets boring after a while. The last thing I farmed for was my Grasps, it took 10 hours for all of them and I didn't mind because I wanted it so bad.
I did get Queens and Lords from 30k runs, actually (2 Lords). But I'll see about farming, I just was confused since I got nothing.

5 RepliesOh-ho baby, don't be misled. The end game rewards eventually will drop gear higher than what you have - join a LFG group and just blast the bosses. CoE runs take only 6 minutes with a fireteam. As end game rewards you can get up to 5 different special weapons: Zen Meteor QueensBreaker Dregs Promise Patience and Time Lord of Wolves When I got to 332 light, I starting getting 335 exotic end game rewards, I also got 335 legendaries like : 335 Class Item 335 Ghosts ( got 3) 335 Chest I've probably only played 4-5 hours combined this week cuz it's a family weekend. [i]sigh, stupid family time.[/i]

I've received multiple ghosts and exotics. 3 of coins work as well. Considering how fast it can be completed, it is well worth it.

1 ReplyDrops actually are not that bad. Make sure to drop a 3oC before rounds though. Got two exotics on three runs.

1 ReplyIt's fast and basically four chances at exotics . The blues that drop are usually higher then your light. Decrypted blues are usually low light.

2 RepliesYou can farm 3oC, that is one thing. Other thing is that the HoW exotic weapon drops, that come as post game rewards, drop at higher light level so you can farm the them again and again for higher light level each time. Other than that HoW reputation that'll give you some higher light reward on leveling up.

Ghosts, special exotics, and class items are the only thing that drop at a higher light. Unless you include engrams.

Running CoE over and over got me a 335 consumed shell, a 335 class item, a 334 Lord of Wolves, a 330 Queenbreaker's Bow, a couple exotic engrams...

Run thwm tiwh 3oC and you also have a chance at the exotics that will drop higher than what you have.

Speed runs with the rep boost will get you a package in 2 hours, got decent drops on those so far
