I keep throwing my grenades at you in strikes and stuff
Quit it with that
*update* my warlock got the boots I find myself slowly switching sides the taken is slowly TAKEN over my body

Ran with my wife on night of update, kept shooting her accidentally; she has a complete set of taken armour. Wasn't the only one doing so that night either.

I kept shooting a guy in PoE as well because of his taken armor. Drove me nuts for the first 2 parts but I learned to recognise it after that.

I ran a strike with a guy wearing it last night and it's a damned good thing there's no friendly fire as he kept getting in the middle of the Taken and blending in. It's annoying.

14 RepliesI do wish a Taken shader was unlocked upon getting all 4 main Desolate armor parts, so that we could go full Taken with other gear that changes colors. Just imagine: Taken redecos of Helm of Saint-14 shining even more brightly than the original, or the ATS/8 Tarantella chest's sensors glowing like Taken eyes, or The Ram helm with glowing ghost eyes in the eye sockets. Or the Achlyophage Symbiote really leaving your head full of light. More on-topic, I had fun triggering the Taken emote at key moments during strikes and Taken incursions in patrol, then having a teammate or a random player suddenly take aim and try to damage me in the ensuing flood of Taken.

LOL. great. lets see how many people will complain about this until bungie maybe tweaks the shade to make it look "guardian friendly" so people can tell the difference. i wonder how the color blind view it.
