The new bullet layouts are a joke (pve)
i get 14 bullets from my sniper in pve, now this wouldn't be so bad if what bungle said about more frequent ammo drops. But alas I've noticed no difference in ammo drops which turns into running around like a blueass fly looking for sniper rounds...
all i can say is a BIG THANKS to the PvP community for ruining this game.. bungie stop with the nerfing to pve because it's now shite.

EDIT 1... it's happening a lot to the community, unless bungie increase the ammo drops drastically or reduce synths timers drastically then am just going to moan and probably just carry on like i have to.... please un nerf pve and i wont slap the next pvp cry baby nerfing bumnugget
edit 2... bungie can i have you're info on this, like wjere the hell is the extra ammo drops. On kings fall every boss you need to stand in a certain place for dps, no time to pop synth or go looking for ammo...
PLEASE UN NERF PVE or am goona go play paperboy on my Commodore 64 at least they wont nerf my newspapers if i throw to many.

1 ReplyPeople on here have the worst luck, i swear. I've been getting a shit ton of ammo on the ground in every activity I've done since the update. And if you're running out and ads aren't dead or the boss hasn't lost a significant chunk of health, you're missing/not making your shots count.

Patience and Time gets 12 bullets at start in Crucible with: Field Scout, Sniper Ammo Chest, Sniper Ammo Boots. Maxes out with 18 shots. Too bad no one will take advantage of it since the zoom is incredibly high. It was high zoom in the first place, and now Bungie make it even worse. Don't need to be scoping into anyone's eyeball.

Use your primary more and you will get more special ammo. I noticed that when I used my primary it dropped more often.. almost like they want you to use all your weapons, weird!

2 RepliesNew ammo sucks, a machinegun is no mg with just 60 shots in space.. Run out ammo in nightfall kill a lot of enemys with primary but still get no special or heavy, juggler means no ammo for everything.... Let us use spec and heavy synth at the same time...

Ammo does drop more often, but it's still very irritating having such a small reserve of shotgun/sniper ammo. I'm starting to run a combo that consists of the Universal Remote, a high impact fusion rifle(Hitchhiker FR4), and the raid machine gun(the smaller ammo reserve for this weapon is also irritating as hell).

But I guess it might be because back in Y1 my LDR held the same amount though. But they did go overboard with the ammo nerf regardless. If Bungie [i]had[/i] to do it, 3-4 rounds less would have been fairer. Speaking of which, how much does LDR hold now? I haven't gotten a new one yet.

7 RepliesThe funny thing is, when i did the nightfall, the only guys dropping ammo were the guys in the 1 shot zone on the final boss. I mean who is going out there to get ammo when those void balls are coming at you.

Before the nerf I had about 26 bullets in total in my snipers. Now I only have 14-16 bullets. ..... bruh

It's 13 bullets in longbow with chest bonus, and yet, 1000-yard has 16. Weren't they extra nerfing 1000-yard because it was 'overused'? (Air quotes because before this update, it was one of four res-snipe snipers that could be used in trials. One was Hunter exclusive, one was exotic, another had luck in the chamber until that was fixed, and the last was 1000-yard. What do you think people are gonna be using?)

It's not the pvp community's fault. It is the developers fault. It was easy to predict this would be a disaster. Ammo capacity was never an issue.

Question, does anyone know how many rounds you get if you have field scout + chest that increases sniper ammo? I tryed skip rounds with chest that increases sniper ammo and i get the same amount without skip rounds.

I can carry a max of 14 bullets for Her Fury with boots. Bungie is retarded.

1 ReplyThe dev's directly contradicted themselves. They said they wanted your gun to feel the same no matter where you are. Yet, when you pick up heavy ammo in PvP you don't get near what you do in PvE. Dumb excuses. I understand why with the heavy, but the same adjustment for special ammo, is clearly simple to do, and wouldn't affect the way the guns "feel".

Let's do simple math in trials there is 3 enemies and 5 rounds so 15 bullets you're one short. This doesn't even count pick ups or extra rounds I think you're fine.

Ok My experance so far with the ammo drops have been a hit or miss. some PoE matches lots of Heavy Ammo some PoE Matches have been lots od Special Ammo drops and some PoE matches have been so dry with ammo drops I have actually used Primary Ammo Synths to not run out!. this needs to be fixed and fast for PvE.

Bro. I get a TOTAL of 11 bullets in my longbow. It's unacceptable for pve. PVP is fine with this change, but pve is not.
