Why does NO ONE use fusion rifles?

I use the fusion thing with my new Titan. It is totally epic. I wreck everyone even though I'm only 54 lights or something

They are not hitscan like most weapons which means under even a small amount of lag they tend to miss.

There isn't a good reason. I've been experimenting with a bunch of different kinds for about 2 months and none are worth it. They're inconsistent: half the time I'm shocked when I get a kill or dumbfounded when clearly I thought I had the upper hand. Shotguns still have too much range: where you'd expect fusions to excel, the shotgun still does it faster and with more consistency. What should feel like something that rewards a skilled hand seems more like luck and frustration.

Because of the inconsistencies. You clearly hit them at close range and not a single his will register sometimes yet you can snipe with it other times. They're still usable. No matter how $hitty a gun is though, there will always be some people who'll be great with it.

Fusion rifles are too op atm so nobody wants to be a d*** and use them until bumgie gives them a nerf that they clearly need

4 RepliesBecause they have been nerfed into the ground on multiple occasions. The only truly good Fusion left is Thesean. (Or however you spell it!) I forgot that the gunsmith was selling the package this week, and remembered Sunday morning, but it was too late:(
