It's time to admit it - Thorn needs…
A buff. It's too underused in light level crucible modes. We need to bring it to 320 and make it like it was in HoW. That was the best time for crucible

Oh no! A satire tag? This can't be! Thorn is not OP what so ever. It's fine as is. People complain too much. So many guns that can beat a Thorn. Just sayin.

Not sure the latent intent of your post, but here are my opinions: Those weapons I worked hard for and finally got, were changed into weapons I would never have wanted. Knowing this, I no longer covet any gun. I use what I have, trash it when nerf'd and pick up the next meta weapon. I've lost interest in quests, bounties, raids and crucible. Destiny is now a pastime I tolerate while I search for a game and company (both) that would never alter any gear I worked hard for, in a Nerf! I may not find that combination, but I damn sure won't find it in Destiny or Bungie! Never understood the purpose of coveting gear that was continually in a weakening cycle. Destiny is supposed to be a grind to get better gear and weapons. Balancing weapons in a war? Sounds like a Human philosophy. Explains why we have only one city left.

I agree fighting the thorn was a rewarding and pleasant experience besides it added more challenge to trials in y1 and I rather deal with the thorn any day over the doctrine

1 ReplyLets be real..Sunsingers need to have their burn increased to last longer and do 1 additional damage to each tick. Also their self res needs to make them invulnerable to being res sniped, and it also needs to revive another player that's within 50 meters of where you died.

You're joking right? It was probably the worst/most over powered meta weapon since the vex. 50-70% of people were using it. That is prime evidence that it needed adjusted. No single weapon should be used by more than 30 % of players. The means weapons aren't balanced or competitive.
