Edit: Challenge mode is laughably easy and the incursion is a slow boring bullet spungy bore fest. Playing other games as well as destiny, won't be going back to division
Im no desticle. In fact I'm not even sure what constitutes being a desticle, but having put about 40 hours into The Division completing the story doing all the side missions collecting almost all collectibles and having a decent stab in the dark zone I can safely say I'm already pretty bored and think that even vanilla destiny had more to do at the same point.
I will certainly be giving the challenge modes and incursions a go but I just don't feel like I can be bothered to even skill up for them.
The division simply does not compete with Destiny's sense of theatre or game play. They're not even in the same league. The rng is a bit better, the story is a bit better but everything is a bit you know meh.....
Oh and it's buggy and glitchy as fuk. For a game that's been delayed for 2 years you think they'd iron some of that out. And content got cut.
The destiny and division are fundementaly the same game. Just because the point of view changes doesn't make it much different. I will reserve final judgment till I've played challenge and incursions but right now I'm all division till April 12th

My only true gripe about the division is that the clothes all look like shite. I've been in fireman gear since day one of playing and am yet to find something better looking.

13 RepliesKids play destiny, men play The Division

3 RepliesSooooo many division fanboys on this forum site....why? Any destiny players trolling division forums?

2 RepliesThe core gunplay of the division isn't as fun as destiny but that's the nature of a cover shooter. The endgame isn't as good as destiny but we haven't had incursions yet and don't forget VoG wasn't opened up until after OG destiny launched so all that has was nightfalls and strikes until then. For me the division while not as deep as destiny in its game modes is better managed and has had more thought in its development. Matchmaking is better. There's more balance in guns More reason to experiment with different builds More reason to run different builds in end game content Loot drops are better. The pvp isn't as good but they've gone for a different twist that's developing and it's an interesting take on pvp. But overall there just seems to be more activity from massive to improve and patch the game. And far better communication which it what makes destiny so annoying to like.

The division is a good break from destiny. I've been taking my time and I only have one high end (Damascus lol) and it's lots of fun. It's more fun than destiny (at the moment)

6 RepliesThere are 4 dlc coming out this year. In destiny there even hasn't been 4 dlc
-
2 RepliesBoth games are mediocre game. Not bad just not great either. Both are a 6 out of 10 tops.

1 ReplyBugs and glitches? Meh, they get patched out and are forgotten in the long term. I'm having fun playing the Division. It's something different after burning out on Destiny. What's wrong with that?
-
1 ReplyTo be honest the division was fun then I realize it was Diablo with guns nothing but a giant loot grind and yes I understand that destiny does have its fair share of loot but i have never got the feeling that I was playing Diablo like I did with the division.
-
4 RepliesI agree. I'm really only playing until the April update for Destiny.
-
3 RepliesAlso the division is still in its vanilla stage. Compare destiny to the division during launch as far as I'm game content goes and destiny is no where near it. End game content on the division isn't as far fetched as everyone wanted it to be. But it's okay. The game only came out a couple weeks ago. Meanwhile destiny has been out for a full blown year and some change lol

No way near as good, but it's definitely a solid game. The amount of hours most people I know have out into destiny is unreal, including me. I got bored of the division after a week. Destiny is dry, but that's because of how much we have all rinsed the hell out of it, oh and because the made year 1 extinct.

Division is boring as hell

3 RepliesI am really enjoying the Dark Zone right now. Have been having fun. Will it kill Destiny? No it will not. If it fun to play while waiting on new content? Why yes it is.

1 Replywhy would you ask this on a forum full of salty 12 year olds lmfao

I haven't experienced many bugs at all just typical day 1 stuff destiny had for a week or 2 as well. Which one is better in a pure matter of opinion. You just said it yourself they're pretty much the same thing meaning its based on opinion. So you can't say it ISNT better. You FEEL like it isn't better.
-
It's much better in my opinion, and I've played each extensively

4 RepliesLol the division and destiny are 2 different games my man. But you want to know what the BIGGEST noticeably and relevant achievement is ? Ubisoft doesnt and didn't make us promises and then flake out on it. And they listen to their gamers. This game is awesome. Destiny is too though. I played it a lot when it came out. Haven't been on but will be on April 12th

9 RepliesI've got more than 120 hours in The Division, and NO vanilla Destiny didn't had more content. Be real.

3 RepliesYou're so right division has been out for what a month compared to destiny a game that has been out for a year and some change

Not that it had anything really going for it, but at least you tried. Edit: For clarity
