Just wondering...
EDIT: YES WE ALL KNOW ITS A GAS GIANT JEEZ. The point is, if they can take Venus (whose surface temperature is hot enough to melt lead) and put jungles and trees on it, surly they could at least make floating platforms or cities protected by shields or something.

Edited by Dr. Umar, Snowbunnies Bane: 3/28/2016 4:14:36 PMWatch the science nerds kick in saying its a gas giant lol. It would be cool too or maybe play on one of its moons like Europa as bungie said
-
I want Uranus to play on.
-
3 RepliesEveryone who keeps saying "it's a gas giant" - ITS A VIDEOGAME. It doesn't have to make sense it just has to be fun oh and the lore clearly states that the traveler terraformed the planets so that they can be inhabited.
-
1 ReplyI am so glad I clicked on this thread. The entire collective of astronomers and astrophysicists have stopped in to give their two cents on how this is/isn't possible. I thought I would have to join Mensa to interact with so many brilliant minds. Who would have thought...a video game forum...mind blown.
-
Can we have Phobos as a patrol? Please?
-
I want Saturn to be a playable planet.
-
Not Jupiter itself. Just a lot of the moons.
-
5 RepliesFuck Jupiter. We want the Sun to be an explorable planet...
😉props if you remember...
-
1 ReplyJupiter has a rocky core with roughly 18% the diameter of the planet, meaning it has about 31 times less surface area than the planet as a whole. Not to mention, the deep layer of liquid surrounding the core is 58 times denser than air (which is still only 1/14 as dense as water). That's really all I have to say.
-
1 ReplySo it would be like bespin in star wars? That would be pretty cool
-
Make all the planets playable. Warframe does that, but considering it's still after all a F2P game it lacks variety. This is where Destiny could do better.
-
Lol no. Our solar system sucks.
-
2 RepliesId rather play and walk on the scorching sun swimming in the warm lava.
-
19 RepliesYa, the Traveler terraformed Venus lmao. Couldn't do it to Jupiter. There is no "terra", it's all just gas and storm.
-
6 RepliesIt's gas dude... Good luck standing on it
-
A simple atmospheric change to Venus by the Traveller is (in some nonsense space-magic way) more reasonable than the complete chemical change needed to make Jupiter's hydrogen layers habitable, considering the entire planet is made of hydrogen. I would love to go to one or more of Jupiter's moons, however (Europa here we come?) or perhaps even a desolate social space station, owned by the Nine, floating above the planet.
-
1 ReplyWe should be able to go to Titan ( one of Saturns moons)
-
1 ReplyEdited by Voyager I: 3/27/2016 8:28:19 PMJúpiter; no. Europa; hell yeah!
-
But Jupiter is gas gi.... Oh. So yea, nah, bro. Europa or Io would be likely candidates though.
-
Europa is a more likely destination. (Europa is one of Jupiter's moons)
-
3 RepliesLove how everybody turned into a space scientist when they saw this thread lol.
-
It'd be interesting to have something like that, maybe a Cloud City style location. Could be another social area too.
-
Yes it should got all the way to the non plant pluto
-
2 RepliesEdited by illegal Jacob: 3/27/2016 11:03:51 PMWhy not
THE SUN
also
Zoidberg
-
It has several moons, why not a moon instead?
-
Edited by GOAT Spartan: 3/27/2016 10:22:33 PMHow About one of its moons? Cause jupiter has no mantle and is nothing but a gas giant.
