And how long did it take to make ?
Halo 1 : 2001, Halo 2 : 2004
Borderlands 1 : 2009, Borderlands 2 : 2012
Any other examples ?
And then Destiny 1 : 2014, Destiny 2 : 2017 ? That doesn't sound weird at all right ?

Borderlands is amazingly perfect, borderlands 2 is the best IMO, I have EVERY character to lvl OP 8, #kriegMasterRace

Those other games were single installment franchise games with closed, offline worlds. Destiny is trying to cash in on the current trend of open, persistant, online worlds. The second option relies on a player base playing continuously. The only way the the second option is successful is if there is enough content often enough that the player base has a reason to continue playing. As of now, Bungies apparent release formula is failing, because it is too slow and too lean to accomodate the kind of player base that enjoys persistant world online games.
