Believe it or not, I'm not trying to shit all over you. I just think that some people don't understand the creative process. They read an article like that and say, well the Dreadnaught was in the original story so it must've been cut content. No, not necessarily. They might've had the idea of a massive Hive ship and then kept that idea and used it for Oryx.
That's all I'm saying. This is how the creative process works. You come up with something, throw it around, see what sticks, keep what does, throw out what doesn't. And if you can reuse an old idea and make it work for you later, go for it.
I'll give a personal example. In one of the songs I just recorded, I included the lyrics "sleepwalk through life awake." I have wrote and scrapped four different songs at this point that have all included that line, before I finally came up with this song that I'm happy with. That's just how this stuff works, and that's for three and a half minutes of music no one will hear, let alone pay money for, not 15 hours at this point of story missions that millions of people will play and obsess over for $60+.

I understand the creative process. I just felt like we deserved more from this update. You are right though, they don't owe us anything.

You are right though, they don't owe us anything.
Well, again, we don't know what's in the update yet. I'm not getting my hopes up. I'm keeping my expectations managed. But there are three weeks of previews ahead, and Bungie has already surprised since the launch of TTK. I remain cautiously optimistic.
