That's all fine and well, until you consider the fact that it's JUST A VIDEO GAME! If you are this invested in something so trivial, then I don't know what to tell you. The moment, and I mean the very moment I care this much about a leisure activity, I'll stop gaming forever.

You do understand people have different passions than you do, right ? Just because they value a game more than you, you feel the need to basically bash ? Please explain your logic. This doesn't just have to do with the way he feels himself, as well as people that believe the same. What if other developers start seeing how people will still support a developer like Bungie, and then bam, there goes the gaming industry as a whole. Do you seriously want that ? I know it's speculation to think like that, but look how much shit greed as infected like a fućking tumor. I don't want the gaming industry to turn out to be something that is always half assed simply due to money. Just like much other shit in the world that's produced.

I could say the same thing about sports. But I don't because of the 4 billion people who watch the FIFA world cup, and the millions who are larger fanatics of soccer than any gamer I know. I could question the value of art, as that is also equally important as a video game. As a matter of fact, I could say virtually anything that extends beyond basic human survival is "not the least bit important". If someone is passionate about something they enjoy doing, why demean them for it?
