Lol, Warframe is definitely NOT a pay to win hahahahaha whoever below is stating that should just sit in a corner.. honestly, no one should listen to you... I have played Warframe and Destiny. Both in a very unhealthy manner. I left Destiny in Dec (except some light crucible) and took up Warframe full time.. I have spent maybe $20 hahaha total, in two years.. have almost EVERY frame, and not even close to half the weapons.. hahaha I can play endgame without worry, and get matchmade into endgame all the time.. hahaha pay to win? pfffft GTFO.. My Rhino Prime and Ninkana made short work of the Event this weekend.. 4 people started the mission, was the only one to finish.. and I didn't pay a cent to get that powerful hahaha.. but I paid for my pretty cape! which has no game effect whatsoever.. because you know... its cloth.. unlike Destiny where your buttcape gives you personal attributes??? its fkn cloth?? Destiny is by far the best shooter on any platform, anywhere...but only for its actual Gun play.. almost every other aspect of the game is done better by many other developers.. I like destiny (I use to love it), and will always play.. But I have spent over $300 on Destiny in the same time frame, and I still haven't won anything that makes me more powerful.. 299 since Dec.. Most likely be that way till the new update and I get a Blue boots engram with 311 light!! making the Raid piece completely useless hahaha. Comparing the two games is like comparing apples and oil tankers hahahaah.. BUT please.... Warframe is not pay to win... it is Pay to Look Awesome hahaha #FashionFrame P.S. If anyone is on PS4 and wants a non-biased run through or help in warframe, just install it and look me up (ninjas play free)... there is in game chat. Hmm. I just downloaded Warframe a week ago and I actually think it's fun. I haven't paid for anything and I'm only using the stuff I've found and I think it's a pretty cool game. Definitely dig the bow and sword combo.

I don't understand why people try to compare two completely different games. It's like saying bungie copied war frame because it has guns in it. Illogical. Destiny is a game for "casuals", who pick up the game, put in maybe an hour or two a day, raid every now and then etc. Going in you know what you're doing, I.e. Little to no learning curve. But warframe is completely different. Hearing all this renewed hype about it on the forums tempted me to download it earlier last week. I've put 20-25 hours in and still have no clue what I'm doing. Warframe has one of the steepest learning curves in a game I have ever seen. The supposed tutorials just say " let the game do it for you until you read a better guide on the Internet". How do I craft things, buy things, farm materials etc. never explicitly explained. Not to say that warframe is a bad game, I have a lot of fun which is probably the only reason I still play. Could care less about the story ( just as bad as destinys), the gunplay and abilities are what really set the two apart. But seriously tho, let's stop trying to compare them and acknowledge them both as good games in their areas.

Warframe has a very subtle Pay to Win element. The things you can purchase with real money are not just cosmetic. They are usable in-game items including weapons and Warframes. Some people argue that these things are all available in game without using real money so that's ok. They say these things give no real advantage other than skipping he grind for those items. I say those people are delusional. The core of pay to win is when you can purchase a usable item in game that gives you an advantage. The advantage in this case is the potential ability (with daddy deep pockets help) to outfit yourself with gear immediately that would take others weeks to grind. Again, it's all about these items being usable and not just cosmetic. In Destiny of they made exotic weapons purchasable just to skip the grind it would drive people nuts. It's the same exotic you can grind for right? Yet in Warframe it's ok? As I said, delusional. I know I'm going to get a lot of salt for this. Doesn't matter. You can change the core definition of P2W. As long as usable in game items are involved that's what it is. It may not be to the level of say World of Tanks but you're still gaining an advantage (even if its pve) by buying better or even different gear.

Don't feel like grinding a 3rd person shooter with bad mechanics that's basically pay to win if you don't want to grind. But hey, if YOU are having fun, great! I have fun playing Destiny and don't go on your game forums bashing the game YOU enjoy.

I tried to like Warframe - I did. I just don't. Can't explain it. It has that "Open-Source" feel to it, like it's not polished, a work in progress that will never be completed.

Destiny and warframe are very different, warframe is a TPS to start, also it's a very pay to win game, where u have to constantly grind for materials to get weapons. No RNG similar to destinys and that's what keeps me coming back

Warframe just doesn't look or play well. Destiny looks great and plays great. We just want more content. Maybe a new strike every month or 2 and a new raid every 6 or 9 would be great. A reason to do patrol would be pretty good. More vendors or something more interactive in the tower and reef. But as far as the gunplay and looks go it's pretty excellent. Warframe feels clunky and looks old

There's a YouTube video with I think 52 reasons why Warframe is better than destiny... But I'm pretty sure there's more. Staring at the wall is more fun than grinding repetitive content.

I like warframe. It's a beautiful game with solid gameplay, lots to do, an extensive crafting system, nice in game chat boards for trading, group finding and otherwise. You even have your own dojo (base) that you build from scratch for research and otherwise. I have about the same amount of time in both (which according to Xbox live is about 1400 hours for each game with my Warframe time split between PS4 and Xbox live.) I don't think it would hurt destiny to crib a few notes from that game, it can only help.
