Destiny > Division
Does anyone else feel like the Division's gunplay is terrible and there are waaaaay too many bullet sponges? I'm already bored. #contentdraught

I like both for different reasons... And will be play both when the April update comes out. I love division rpg elements and I love destiny fps game play

3 RepliesBe realistic. I don't hate Destiny, like most people on these forums, but I recognize its glaring flaws. Weak Story, awful RNG, unbalanced PvP, etc. The Division beats Destiny in most RPG categories, such as story and character progression. Where I think Destiny trumps (and will trump) The Division is in three key areas: 1.) [u]Endgame:[/u] As harsh as I am on video games, Destiny's raids are wonderfully designed, speaking mainly of VoG. I don't think The Division can replicate an endgame that good. 2.) [u]PvP:[/u] As frustrating and unbalanced Destiny's PvP is, it has a lot of support from the Sweaty Community. It helps that The Division doesn't even feature a competitive PvP, something that players like myself, care about. 3.) [u]Gameplay Mechanics[/u]: The guns in Destiny feel much better than they do in the Division. You can distinguish different weapons from each other simply based on sound alone. Ultimately, The Divsion is unarguably a better RPG, MMO than Destiny but I feel Destiny is the better game.

What are these bullet sponges you speak of? At least The Division requires skill to be good at it, Destiny's guns practically do the job for you.

Destiny's guns practically fire for you. Sorry you can't shoot without a crutch. And there are only 2 kinds of people who use bullet sponge as a bash. Either you specifically are looking to hate the game. Or you are under geared and blame the game for not making your build optimized. And you can't call the division out on bullet sponges and then praise destiny. When destiny was smashed for the same issue.

I just started play destiny again because I bought a ps4 and wanted to try it out. There are bullet sponges there too. But I like the division's gunplay just fine.

3 RepliesTo anyone that says Division is full of bullet sponges: Have you ever played an MMO? Fighting monsters in those games is sitting there, hitting the same four or five buttons for a few minutes. Literally all they do is soak damage. To speed this process along on an MMO, you use abilities to increase your damage, attack speed, critical chance, whatever. Division does that with signature skills, smart cover, pulse, etc. If you walk into a fight and just sit there shooting, you're playing it wrong. That's like trying to fight Bahamut in Final Coil using nothing but auto attacks.

Wait you are talking about lack of content on The Division? Also, I don't encounter bullet sponges unless they are levels above me or they are bosses.
