I don't really see a problem with them telling us this stuff. The only real problem I see our content miners looking for stuff and spoiling new weapons and armor. I honestly don't want to be surprised either because, well we all set are expectations to high.
I also think that they should release new content before everyone is even leveled up so their is so much more stuff to do!
great posts all!

They have nothing to tell us. That's literally it.

6 RepliesBecause people don't understand the phrase 'subject to change'. I'd love to know more as much as the next player but you just need to look at the reaction to HoW in year 1. It was delayed from what people expected and didn't have the raid people expected. They crucified Bungie as a result. Now they're not announcing anything till its final. I'd prefer to know what MAY be coming further in advance with the knowledge it might change but too many folk take it as broken promises and lies when they do change anything

Because the plan changes every 25 mins

Edited by BridledGraph: 3/14/2016 1:54:20 AMBecause they don't have a plan, can't talk about plans you don't have
-
Because there isnt a plan. They never had one. Whatever they throw together wont be worth the time and they now it. If yhey had anything, they'd be hyping the crap outta it.
-
They are telling us their plan
-
Probably don't have a plan
-
They are not saying much because they are not even sure exactly what is next. They have learned their lesson from the roasting they get whenever something changes slightly from what they originally say will happen. So now, and I don't blame them, their not saying shite until they know for sure.

7 RepliesEdited by Luckdog26: 3/13/2016 11:14:27 PMBecause the last time they told us their plan before it was set in stone, the community went absolutely psycho when they changed any part of that plan. We made mistakes, and now Bungie are learning from that. If this community wasn't so spectacularly -blam!-ed in the head, we would already know the year 2 rollout plan.
-
Ummmm because bungie built a twitch studio.... Their last update was all about the twitch streams and the slowwwwwwww hype. Nothing has changed with the marketing of this game since TKK dropped. Because of the large number of good games that have come out over the last year bungie as a company, needed to adapt a fresh approach. Unfortunately they haven't and player numbers are dropping off. We are living in an age of instant entitled gratification which is impossible to sustain.

The plan is to have a plan! step uno, make them use their own imagination! step 2, use of misdirection! step troi, play the devision!
-
Ya gotta have a plan first!

Edited by hunting the void: 3/14/2016 1:26:04 AMThey don't have a plan... This spring update imo wasn't thought up until the community complained and the ceo got canned. This is a sloppy Co living on the PAST! BUNGIE needs to step up and I don't care if deej said he was sorry there needs to be a breath of fresh air around here. Bungie ceo out with a nitwit community manager that can't see the mood of his community. Deej doesn't take the job seriously and that is easy to see in his posts to US.

They are still thinking of one
-
Why share your plans of world domination? Bungie isn't an evil bond villain.

Edited by ryebar: 3/14/2016 12:05:17 AMBungie doesn't have a plan in place with a definitive time of delivery. It's as simple as that. If Bungie did then the hype train would be chugging down the tracks. When Bungie Devs finally make it to the point where a content deliverable is reality instead of just a concept then we will be told about it. Until then if you're bored play less Destiny. If player numbers continue to decline that will serve as added incentive for Bungie to get the new content out to bring back the players. Question is will you spend your money on the next DLC?
they should release new content before everyone is even leveled up so their is so much more stuff to do!
This is the part that I think is BS about Destiny...the fact that you CANT level up with out RNG....leveling up should NOT be RNG...this game is essentially a hamster wheel. If you think about it...if we were light level 320 when we made it to level 40...would we still think this game has a lot of content? There are less than a handful of strikes, one raid, a few story missions. THAT'S IT...and all of those things i mentioned is playable in about 2 days...but we repeat that shit over and over and over and over..for gear that is useless all because we get held back by RNG leveling. And get this...after you have played the raid 100 times to finally get to 320...BAM! the Light level gets increased to 360 and you can buy 320 vanguard gear at the tower!

7 RepliesIt's 2 weeks into spring and people are having a cry. The reason bungie isn't revealing anything is that people tend to take those ideas and make them fact, then get upset that it's not followed to the letter. If I was bungie, I'd be withholding too, cause most of you are -blam!-ed
-
A friend of mine worked for a game company and he couldn't say anything. They just don't want the competition getting wind of some things.
-
Because it'll ruin the SURPRISE!!! Jeez!

4 RepliesEdited by SweetZombieJesus: 3/13/2016 10:28:22 PMThey're not ready to and here's the funny thing... They don't have to until they are ready. A rational individual has thing little thing called patience... Amazing right?

They already told us the plan.

there is no plan ..only reactions.

What plan?
