To let all players who go 9-2 or better go to the lighthouse and get the chest. There's no reason only a flawless player can go, 9-2 is still an accomplishment. Just don't give them the flawless emblem or adept weapons.
9-2 isn't handing it to anyone, that is a hard challenge to do in itself with the new matching.
I'm not trying to take anything away from flawless runs, just allow players to go to the lighthouse get some lesser rewards from the chest and reward them. This would actually increase the amount of play time in trials because people would know they have a chance to go and get rewards. It would be like the raids used to be, rewarding. Flawless runs would get better drops.

Honestly you aren't missing out all you get is a reskinned weapon with the name adept after it. You could easily get wins and if it's the weapon you like just infuse it. Adept do nothing special not like yr 1 when they at least had burns. You'll probably benefit more from popping 3 of coins and getting to at least wins.

Edited by ZionFury7: 3/6/2016 10:45:37 PMIt's a Destiny gamers own rite of passage, it's the one thing Bungie will not overturn. Bungie would rather see a major decline in its player population than change the criteria for The Lighthouse. If your going 7-0 and 8-0 frequently, your day will come. As shitty as my kd is, I've been twice and come close to returning a few times. With the release of The Division, I'm sure all "the super sweaty try hards" will flock over for a brief period of time and infamous Lighthouse will be more attainable then.

7 RepliesTrials emblems show nothing... In most cases they only show that some was carried. Yesterday in trials we had a team with 2 flawless emblens and one scarab emblem. We won 5-0, nobody of them were able to keep a positive K/D. Things like that make me sad. Noobs like these guys get the emblem without even doing something for it and my team goes 8-1 every damn week...

Then it wouldn't be flawless. You are then flawed. Deal with it.
-
This would invalidate the entire point of going flawless. Really, it would.
-
You get guns and armour
-
Trials is hard. Someone carry me?
-
People are still complaining about the pointless lighthouse?
-
You suck if you can't go 9-0 in this mediocre competitive game mode
-
I just want flawless for grimoire

The only thing you get from the chest is adept weapons and maybe an exotic. Honestly the rewards aren't even worth the time. I stopped playing Trials 3 weeks ago. I don't need anymore 312 primary weapons. My vault is full of 320 weapons and gear. The only thing I even do anymore is the weekly raid challenge. That's the only thing that's worth taking the time to do. With that said, I don't even do the rest of the raid anymore. I simply get a checkpoint for the challenge and do it on all three characters...then play PvP.

2 RepliesGet good is a suggestion

Petition to make the lighthouse and all mercury a pvE destination. Sign below.

No lighthouse if u have a loss but you should get a reward. Since you get armour at 5 wins and a gun at 7, a reward at 9 would make sense
-
3 RepliesIt's stupid because there are guy walking around with scarab emblems and 0.5 trials kd
-
2 RepliesThat's what the bounties are for.
-
I hope this post is satire. Judging from the post, I'd say you went 9-2 and now want it to be a flawless run because you can't go flawless. I don't understand why you bothered to write that all out, incredibly stupid of you.
-
I wouldn't mind lighthouse permanent unlock for going flawless like u can go back but the chest is locked, I love walking around in it
-
There should be a reward for getting to 9 wins but lighthouse is flawless. Maybe a 300-310 reward for going 9-1 or 9-2
-
I'd say let em in on the lighthouse but only let em open the chest when going flawless
-
1 ReplyDude, your argument is essentially why they implemented the bounties so that people will participate more for slightly lesser rewards. 9-0 is as it should be. If you win the first match, you're 3-0 after that 1 match, there's your 9-2 equivalent right there, getting 2 wins for free already. I've only been to the Lighthouse twice, would love to go more often, so I'm running with different teams to find one I can have the right flow with. Joined a couple of people off the forum tonight to run a card and finish bounties with. We lost our first match, but then won the next five to hit six wins - we could have been at 8-0 had it not been for that initial loss, we then got wrecked by elites though, but it was cool. We put the first loss down to being our first ever match together and went on to storm to six wins. Point being, with some more run time together and a decent roll on the matchmaking, we can make it. None of us had kd's over 1.1 or elo above 1350, yet it's entirely possible for us to succeed. We did have a match where my match kd was 11-1, and another where we had 40 team kills, we had more positive matches than negative by some margin, then we had a couple of terrible matches, but we had fun, no rage, it was an encouraging run. Check my warlock on Bungie stats on my character profile and trials report, you'll see what I'm saying.

2 RepliesLol fūcking hilarious how a bunch of people on this post are saying things like "it's not even that hard to go flawless", "flawless is so easy", and "flawless is the easiest thing in destiny" yea no it's fūcking not, it's -blam!-ing hard if your not a fūcking God in pvp, I ply trials every week and I've only gotten to 7 wins, it's hard, I'm talking to you top 10%.

2 RepliesI will, most likely, never see the lighthouse. My skills are simply not good enough. I could complain, whine, moan, try to change the rules etc., but I won't. Those who have been have for the most part earned it in some way. Either by having great skill or giving a BJ to those that do. Since I am not in the BJ giving business, I will still play, hope to increase my skills, and count myself dammed lucky when I get to play with people who are sincerely good players. I will try to learn what they do, and continue to improve. That's my two cents.
