The PDX/Hawksaw and grasp of Malok are still very good while the others aren't. Funny thing is those were the biggest problem during 2.0 and they barely got changed. They need to re buff the super high impact pulse rifles and give the range back a bit while maintaining the current burst to kills on the other archetypes.

I use hawksaw in trials and I've DESTROYED people with it from every distance you can think of.

1 ReplyThey give the illusion of being good. Three bursts must crit for a quick kill. That's where the issue is. A lot of weapons have a quicker ttk now and pulse rifles outside of the grasp of malok are fun but uncompetitive. They are tedious to use now. Guardians don't just sit still. They jump slide blink etc....... And the commitment it takes to take an opponent down most of the time is too much. Agreed, they are garbage. John Wiesnewski should resign or buff this weapon type back to where it was.

I think the fire rate of all pulses should be slightly faster in bursting the bullets out. All three or four rounds should be shot faster especially on the slower pulses. Because by the time that third or forth bullet comes out and your about to shoot your next 3/4 rounds your opponent has most likely nailed you with mida or doctrine and your aim get completely off

The problem is mida and it's hcr perk. If that one perk didn't exist on the gun pulses would be in a good place. I still think mid and high impact ones are still a little weak and got nerfed too hard but that's what's stopping these from winning gunfights they should.

1 ReplyLol, PDX-45 still takes 3 Bursts to kill. ONLY DIFFERENCE? You used to be able to afford 3 Bodyshots within those headahots. Now you can only afford 2. Huge difference! Wow!

The low impact ones are still decent. Medium is ok but I feel a lot of times my enemies get away where I normally would have killed them. There is no reason at all to use the high impact ones...

Pulse rifles are not as good as they were but they are still viable at certain ranges (which is the way it should be, you should not be able to kill easily with them from any range as it was before TTK).
